Wow, awesome fishing Captains! I've personally don't go out anymore after the fall run. Gets too cold, and I for some reason don't really like fishing for trout. Might have to get out and chase some silver cohos and kings, are you guys more focus on warmer water with bait and reefs this time of year?

I’d like to know if the captains or you use paddles with spoons instead of flies. I fish on Lake Huron and caught Kings using a Bechold 8in paddle and small willow leaf dodger with spoons.

Watch every video you put out. New salmon fisherman. walleye guy from ohio. I’m hooked on these salmon now. Fish Northern Lake Huron. And Southern Lake Michigan this past year. Last weekend went to Ludington . The three biggest kings I have boated so far. At one point late Saturday morning we were fishing close to each other. Thanks for all the teaching info truly appreciated .

Great report. One thing I just don't understand is this... You put your salmon in a livewell that has 70 - 80 degree water running through it and leave them there for 5 or 6 hours. Do you not care about ruining the meat? Totally different in May or even June when the surface temp is in the 50s. But then I see a lot of guys with zero ice in their coolers as well. I spend a lot of money (just like everyone else does) to chase fish like this and I want that fish to be the best it can be when I vacuum seal and freeze it. Just seems like a waste to me.
