The Horns of Nimon is absolutely ridiculous, hammy acting and absurd - which is what makes it brilliant! Graham Crowden and Malcolm Terris deliver panto-esque performances in such a superb way. “THE NIMON BE PRAISED!”😂

"You meddlesome hussy!" On one of the Behind the Sofa featurettes on The Collection Season 17 Blu-ray set, Colin Baker said this was one of his favourite Doctor Who lines ever! XD

Say what you want about Soldeed overacting, but I do enjoy cartoonish villains like that compared to the more serious boring ones.

I know he's supposed to be a different character, but whenever I see Graham Crowden as Soldeed, I think he's Tom Ballard from Waiting for God engaging in one of his adorable senile fantasy roles again. If you compare Crowden's scenes in this with his scenes from Waiting for God, Tom and Soldeed are almost exactly alike. I can already imagine Diana Trent walking in, and exclaiming: "Good God, Tom. Are you pretending to be an alien lord from the future again? You know that's bad for your heart."

I don't understand people's issue with Graham Crowden's performance. Soldeed is flipping out of his mind. He's not a mentally healthy individual at all. This is a brilliant performance.

I've seen Graham Crowden in other things and he's actually very good. he's wildly overacting in this - he thought it was a rehearsal take, the production was chaotic, etc. - but I'm glad he overdid it. it's more fun this way.

I love the Horns of Nimon and Graham Crowden is one of the key reasons... Yes, unhinged, OTT, but totally chews up the scene... and those quotes, "You meddlesome hussy!" I want a keychain full of Graham Crowden quotes just to play them throughout the day. "Three... I have seen THREE!!!" When you're having a bad day, you just want to say, "So... this is the great journey of life!"
