On the date of October 4, 2024 we had another opportunity to see the world's famous Union Pacific Big Boy no. 4014 as we chased the one million pound giant from College Station to Houston, Texas during the Heartland of America Tour. Unfortunately, for most of the chase UP 4014 had to run at reduced speeds due to bearing issues. But on a positive note this was one of very few moments we captured the UP 4014 without a diesel assist so everything you see in this video the Big Boy running under its own power. No matter where we see the Union Pacific Big Boy it's a great time seeing the giant steam locomotive roll down the mainline and we can't we to have another fun adventure with the Big Boy...
