OMG
@68EFIvert, I have a early year Jensen P1800 [preproduction], would you be interested in taking on a new client?
What type of headlights did you use?
Anymore videos on this project?
One of these years I'm going to actually start on my 71 rebuild.
Any updates on this build ?
that hood is perfect!! where was the car built?
well, did you finish it? it looks great!!
update?
I had some big mechanical problems with a new engine and my transmission as well. Getting ready to start it up for the first time in a couple weeks. That is unless something else causes delays.
Man this thing is beautiful. You still have it?
Yep. Ran into quite a few mechanical problems in the past year. About to start it up now. Fingers crossed nothing else comes up. Once it is running it will head off for the interior.
@@68EFIvert awesome! You in the states? I’d love to check this out in person some day. Such a beautiful build. I’m looking at adding one to my collection
@@QwkCollectionsGarage I live in SW Washington right outside of Portland, OR. I hope to have the car ready for SEMA next fall. Should be there unless more unforeseen items come up.
Hello have you a final vidéo of this beautifull work ?
Awesome work ! Love it !! Can you give me the name of the color please with the code ?
I am not sure about the code but it is an Aston Martin color
@@68EFIvert its what I wanted to take for my volvo p1800, silver birch AST1180 ! But I think yours its not the silver birch ! Its darker and more beautifull !!
are you taking this to IPD show?
If it is done in time I will. I had some large engine and transmission problems. Should be running in the next couple weeks though. After that it heads off to get the interior.
@@68EFIvert if it makes it, I'm going to be stoked to check it out.
@68EFlvert is there a way you can help me with how you got the renderings for this vehicle
Will this work with a stock 5.7 hemi with nag 1 trans
I have no idea. They tech support at Lokar should be able to answer that.
What is the Year and the Model that you started this P1800 as ?? I am Very ! Keep to get a project like this under way. Also Did you Shave Down the rear Fins on it as well ?.. I can see you did the Windows and the hood.. Looks killer !! Love it well done 👍.
It is a 1968 1800. The rear fins are more laid down that shaved. The back of the car is about 5” wider than a stock car. That and mini tubbing the car, allowed me to fit a 315 tire on the car. I have a full build on the car here www.pro-touring.com/threads/95668-1968-Volvo-project-Pure-Volvocity?highlight=Volvo
@@68EFIvert Thank you so much for your reply and the build link ! I’ll check it all out. And again nice work what you have done all the best.

It is at the tuner right now. Had a transmission issue come up that has slowed progress.

Update pleeeaasse
The car looks amazing, how does it feel to be nearing completion after 7+ years of work ?
So, Cyan just came out with a restomod version of the p1800, and it's currently being touted as the "Singer" of Volvo 1800s. I'ld love to see your car DarrelD matched up to the Cyan when it is finished. You should put them on show together. My bet is you would get more orders.
Agreed
