Have you been to Anfeh before? Let me know what you think of it!
Have you had good Mexican food in Lebanon?
Have you visited the Tripoli Citadel before?
It is the ding ding at the beginning for me😂
😂😂
Thank you for sharing the vibe of the beaches and Batroun. It is still mind blowing in Lebanon, a public beach they still close it and make you pay $30 for entrance, plus parking. And they get away with it.
Plus food and drinks. 🙃 Happy to hear from you again 😎
The whole country is a private club. Shameful.
@@star-l3e agree. Notice wherever you go, people obsessed with the parking in the front of their little stores. Mawkaf li zaba2en el mahall fakat. LOL They go crazy if you park and not going shopping from their shop. 😄
These videos always bring a smile to my face and a tickle to my sense of adventure! Can't wait for more!
😘😘😘
The best. big thanks
It was good to see you :) Havent had the time to read your book yet, but it's on my mind. Will read it and give you my feedback :)
Jesus christ is the only way to heaven only savior only healer only answer 💌✝️♾️

❤️
Such a beautiful magical country. ❤thanks a lot.
Thank you ❤️
Another LaMartine ? haha
Yes! He had great taste in locations ;)
What a beautiful place! :)
@@Nyllsor it is ❤️
Nice vid :)
Thank you 😊
What I will never understand is why humans will forsake their inate ability to create beautiful things in order to follow baseless stories from thousands of years ago. Have the dignity and self-respect to say I created this beautiful garden, I wrote this beautiful verse or poem. But no lacking self-respect, they must say, "Oh god, did this not me, god gave me these words to write into a poem, it was not I. We really must grow up out of this mental weakness.
It's understandable to question why people attribute their creations to a higher power. For many, this is a way of expressing humility and gratitude. While it's important to take pride in our own achievements, it's also essential to respect others' beliefs and perspectives. Everyone's journey and way of understanding the world are different, and recognizing these differences can lead to more meaningful dialogue.
La Jetée is definitely a hidden gem! 😍
Yeah I agree 👍🏻
Go to sugar mad it’s in the Midan it’s my uncles restaurant
I think I saw it. Does he have waffles?
@@NabzAndGio yes he does
It’s not directly on the midan but above it and to the leff
To the left
Next to Bistro right? Yeah I saw it

Right? 😂

Wow I miss to go home
Guys Thank you so much for this great episode about beautiful Douma, a picturesque Lebanese town voted one of the Best Tourism Villages by UNWTO 2023. This whole series about Lebanon you are doing is amazing and well done. I would like to add to the "history part" 3 things please: 1 - Add to the list of possible origins of the name the Phoenician meaning "tranquility and calm and rest", given in the book of Anis Freiha where he says that the town is indeed very old and the name occured in the Old Testament. 2 - Douma became a principal place for the Christian refugees who escaped from Baalbek after the devastating 1759 Earthquakes and the subsequent feud between different tribes that occured there. 3 - The Ottoman era "look" of the old town is largely due to remittance from people who migrated to the Americas in the late 19th century, early 20th century. They helped build the town which was called "Al bandar" because it became a major souk in the area.
Thank you for all the extra info Rania 😍
Thank you @RaniaKaram ! Especially for pt2. Are you from Douma?
@@_giovannik No, but I love anything that promotes Lebanon

Is Abdo bou Seba the correct spelling? He is amazing
Yes! Abdo works at Le Cremier in Deir El Qamar and he is actually very informative and passionate about Deir El-Qamar. His instagram is instagram.com/abdo_bou_saba/ but I'm not sure he is very active online.
@@NabzAndGio wow, thank you so much. Love your work. I really appreciate that 🙏
@@Perpetualmotion00 Anytime!
I would love to know if they keep records of families that lived in that era. I wonder if there were any families from the Haddad family that lived there many years ago
No idea. Theoretically they should..
the ''new'' bridges are so the old ones can be renovated.
Oh so they're only temporary?
Interesting
yes@@NabzAndGio
Interesting! Thanks for the info! 😎@@r.a.h7682
Nice 👍 worth visiting
Definitely worth a visit! I totally recommend 😎
Did you recognise the tune played on the street organ?
Yes! Isn't it YMCA? 😍
You should have gone to Delft. Delft is more picturesque than Leiden & much closer from central station Rotterdam.

i know that Sarchophagus was a greek discovery, but is that sarchophagus in Greece or Lebanon?
This is in Byblos, Lebanon
Nice video, and Chekka has one of the most clean beaches in Northern Lebanon. By the way, I am glad you did not give any money to that scammer. There are so many of them now, after the economical situation. When I was there this summer, I would encounter someone pretending to be a parking owner or controller, specially when they see a rented car, and they are trying to get Dollars. Anyway, keep broadcasting nice videos from Lebanon :) Thank you
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts 😎 I agree, Chekka's beach is beautiful and the water was crystal clear. Of course it's essential to be cautious about scammers during these tough times. I appreciate your support (it’s motivating), and I'll keep bringing more videos from Lebanon. 😊
Great video. Where can i find the trail's location?
Thank you Mohammad! Trail I took was this one: www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/serjbal-138605697 Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions :)
this is my home city , since i left to Canada it has changed a lot , i wish if someone has some footage of the city like 20 years back , because i noticed later after , that there was a lot of beauty and everybody was beautiful and gorgeous to the point that it was like a normal and common thing everywhere ... we realized that this was very particular to Batroun , only when we started going out to discover other cities and other countries
It’s interesting to hear your perspective on how Batroun has changed over the years. I totally get what you mean about Batroun’s unique charm. I’ll keep an eye out for any old footage that might show how it looked 20 years back. Your input means a lot! 🇱🇧😊
who is the idiot who said there was no lebanon back then !! lebanon is 10k old , it was mentioned by gilgamesh - and is the only country in history whose borders were mentioned in the old testament i the judges -syria didn't exist back then--- lebanon was never part od syria lebanese people never called themselves syrians - fakhreddine ruled lebanon from akka to Arwad - it's the phoenician borders of lebanon that is why he called himself king of phoenicia
this nature is what makes a lot of lebanese become saints
Nature in Lebanon has a way of touching our souls.. and I couldn’t agree more about its impact 😊
i came to the conclusion that lebanon is a cursed land , lebanese like me will understand why ?! we have never had peace
I understand your sentiment. Lebanon has faced its share of challenges over the years, and many of us long for lasting peace and stability. We got nothing but hope for a future where the beauty and resilience of this land can truly shine. 🇱🇧🕊️
Thanks for taking viewers on a tour of Tyre. I have never been there, but the numerous ancient ruins and port are incredible. I can't believe there are no tourists visiting Tyre's rich archeological ruins!
So happy to hear that Dinah ❤️ Tyre is definitely worth the visit! 😉
I assume you didn't have the chance to see almost anything in Palermo 😅 It's a shame
No I sadly didn’t. But it did get me intrigued to want to visit again and spend more time in Palermo 😎
Nice
Thank you :)
