Bullets dont travel in an arc...come on. Bullets dont rise up against gravity. Your red dot is angled downward slightly, which means the perfectly straight line of sight which is angled down will cross the bullets path at Point A and again at Point B when the bullet drops. The bullet does not travel upwards. It only falls, just like everything else on earth.

I would of just used hockey tape instead of the paracord and then dipped it in plasti-dip to rubberize the hockey tape. I do it to my knife, hatchet, and hammers if the handles feel slick to me. Otherwise, great work and idea!

I like the idea of thinning down the handle a bit, but think there are better solutions than paracord. Like taking the existing handle to a belt sander and shaping it. Then adding a lanyard hole is never a bad idea. Those of us with 3D printers can also whip something up that glues on as a replacement.

Don’t pry, you’ll most likely lose your purchase on the door. Instead, use your legs by squatting, putting the bar over your shoulder and pushing up, twisting the flat in the frame, creating an opening that can the be easily exploited. About 35 years of truck company operations helps to understand how to defeat even the sturdiest of doors, some may just take a bit longer.
