Hopefully u respond to this , it’s 2 years later prices for these zl1 ARE STILL CRAZY !!! I found a 2018 with 4k miles asking 62k I stay in Cali so taxes are gonna be around 7k that’s 69k for a 2018 zl1 , a new one is obviously 68k out dooor but that’s still expensive…

The first run at the track, you got into the rev limiter, nothing to do with anything else. Not giving you a bad time, but I think you still had the nannies turned on. You must press traction control twice to turn it all off.

Going from a ZL1 to a Supra is the reason this channel died 2yrs ago...

Any update since it's been a year? If it's still 1 quart/liter every 2k miles, that's only an extra 1.6cents per mile. If you drive a fair amount like 10k miles/year, that's an extra ~$160/year. Annoying but not enough to get rid of it, imho.

I wouldn't let this issue dissuade anyone from buying this car. I have a 2021 3.0 Premium and am at around 5,400 miles now. This issue has never arisen for me. I had the first oil change at around 2,800 miles and oil level was fine and it's still at a good level since the first oil change a year ago. Even if I was experiencing the 1 liter of oil needed every 2k miles issue, I would still love this car. Throw a liter in the trunk!

So wait, Sport mode changes something with the engine tuning too make it pop more as well? I thought the only thing that made it pop was the valve on the stock exhaust being open

I would of just saved money and gotten a Lexus F sport ..this Supra is BMW trash

California really over price here base model 5.0 going for 38k back then was 32k-34- used or new and then just ZL1 in California are around 58-62k

Him saying 58k kinda high but the prices for one now are like 70k
