Hi Dena! Found your channel just now, I also live in MI and yes northern did get hit with snow! So lucky yeah!

I lost my border collie on Decembre 27th 2019 she was near 12 years old, I had her since she was 8 weeks and I miss her so much, I think of her everyday. Until 4 weeks ago I wasn't able to have an other dog because I didn't want to replace her. I adopted a 12 weeks old male puppy from a shelter. I applied for adopting the mother but she was not ready having been hurt so bad by the previous owner so they gave me one of her puppy because she was a stray pregnant female when she has been brought at the shelter. I will never forget my Maggie, it is just an other chapter of life so I understand how you feel about Luna ❤🇨🇦

Loved this post! I live in Southern California and we have many magnolia trees nearby and I cut limbs off to make table garlands all the time! I’m sure people that see me think I’m crazy but magnolia wreaths and garlands are so beautiful and FREE that it’s too hard to pass up. I’m recovering from foot and ankle surgery after an accident earlier this summer and so bummed not to get out and do this exact same thing, but I’ve taught my daughter and husband well, they are clipping and bringing fresh cuttings to me and I’m learning to use my hands free crutch to get me through the next 6 weeks! I’ve always wanted to go on a wintry sleigh ride with hot chocolate and the whole nine, barn fire, etc. I plan to add cedar branches and battery candles and fairy lights to my window boxes. The rest of my house and yard are done! Your property and the boughs are so magical! Someone in my neighborhood does them across their portico every Christmas and they are beautiful! I’m not embarrassed to say this but I often times find myself pull over on a country road and clip greenery or pick flowers. I’m sure nature doesn’t mind 😂 now my kids have gotten in the habit of picking flowers for mommy 😂

I just recently came across your channel and I’m loving it (new subscriber 🙋‍♀️) I’m making my first natural garland this year. We get a real tree each year but this year I’ve gathered some branches that came off the tree when my husband trimmed it. I’m soaking them in cold water for a day or two that way they’re well hydrated. We live in North Georgia and it gets cold but nothing like where you are. We hardly ever get snow here. I’m so thrilled that you are making these videos because they help me when I do my DIY 😊thank you!

Since we last traded comments, we have pour the footers, poured the basement slab, and have the walkout basement Fox Blocks stacked two courses from the next level. Love your wrap around porch. We are planning something similar. It is a LOT of work but I am sure that you and your husband feel a great sense of accomplishment and approaching the finish of your home.
