Oh, man, I met Steve 50 years ago when he was playing with the Gary Burton Quintet- he may have aged but really, he is ageless!

This video illustrates that when scofield actually plays a truely high quality guitar he drops the overdrive. He once said in an interview that he preferes his ibanez semi hollow over the gibson one. In my opinion he said it for marketing purposes. What do you guys think?

Saw them play this live with Bill Stewart on drums about 10 years back in Mains Germany. Every note perfect. Both players monumental.
