Nice video, It would be better if you provide more content about city itself rather than hotel etc.
Did you encounter any rain?
Good
❤❤🎉🎉
In my opinion those two first bathrooms were not dark. I would love to have some color in my bathroom. I hate all white bathrooms or basically anything all white.
I don't get it, what kind of job do you need to can afford an apartment for renting which costs between 3000-5000 dollars/month?
how do you even smell after the flight?😅
What’s the logic behind the “one month free” deal? Why not just say the actual price?
It’s a bit of a marketing tactic 😐 at renewal, your lease will increase on the listed monthly rate, rather than net effective. And so it ultimately increases a very significant amount
@@bymichlea ahhh ok
❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
I love this video
Why would anyone buy anything in that liberal city?
Thank you for showing Sweden! I’m happy to visit here in a few months, so excited!!
Enjoy it!!! It’s a beautiful country. Are you staying mostly in Stockholm or venturing out to other towns and cities?
Hello, nice video, I did enjoy it. Do you guys know if there a direct bus from Stockholm to Sigtuna ? Instead of taking a train and changing then in Märsta station for a local bus to Sigtuna busstation ? I will be back to Sweden this Summer and would love to visit that town. Thank you
Unfortunately no, I don’t think there is a direct bus
@@bymichlea Thank you
I didn't think 42nd St. was considered Chelsea
It isn’t :)
One word Brooklyn
I totally agree. Though I heard Bklyn has gotten pricey too 😰
@@bymichlea yeah but still not as expensive and better lifestyle... Manhattan is good to visit but Brooklyn is better to live in... 👍🏻😎💯
Nyc is a racket and a snare 😅
Broker fee how much
How much commission client has to Pay to client I’m Real estate agent in Dubai
I’m not sure about buying and selling for agents, but with renting the broker fee can be anywhere from 1 months rent to 15% of annual rent
1 bedroom for 4-5k dollars to rent? I live in Copenhagen, Denmark one of the richest and expensive countries in the world. But that seems out of this world - how can people afford it? And even if they can afford it - why would they rent instead of owning if they have that sort of money? The most crazy prices we have here are like 2.5 k for 1 bedroom maximum. But I think the average is about 2 k for a two bedroom apartment.
Salaries are also much higher in New York; the average salary in Manhattan is 100,000$ people don't buy because buying is **even more** ludicrously expensive
@@kerboy5397 even if salaries are 100k on average - it doesnt make sense to me. That is still over half your (pre-tax) salary for 1 bedroom. That is not sustainable
At that price point where I live you would be in a luxury gated community 3 bed 2 full bath condo
this price is crazy
I completely agree 😩
Love the mini dish washer
It’s kinda cute honestly 😄
What is the average monthly income in New York?
Insane rent
When did you go to Amsterdam? I’m wondering if the Pokémon collaboration items will still be in the Van Gogh museum next month. I know the cards are long gone but I want the other merch more than the cards
Hi! Unfortunately I think the exhibit ended in January :/ definitely check their website!
It is alway the price 😢😢
If you like Van Gogh, the Kröller-Müller Museum in the national park De Hoge Veluwe is a must. They have a stunning collection of modern art and a fantastic Van Gogh selection with some of his best and most famous pieces like the Cafe in Arles by Night and the Potatoeaters. It was a private collection owned by the Kröller-Müller family who spend all their money on the park and their art collection, which is now all owned by a foundation. The sculpture garden is part of the museum and amazing. But the best thing about the entire experience is that its right in the middle of the best and largest national park in the country. With your park ticket you get to use their free bikes which you can grab and leave where you like. Youll need one to see everything in the 55km2 area. The combination of nature and art you can enjoy in a single visit is maybe the best attraction the country has to offer and you can easily spend a full day there, since there is another little museum, mainly about the park itself and other attractions like the famous hunting lodge St. Hubertus by the renowned Dutch architect Berlage. The park has three main entrances. The easiest one to get to with public transportation, is probably in Arnhem, a city 1 hour away from Amsterdam by train. There you can grab city bus from the station that drops you off near the "Schaarsbergen" entrance where you buy your ticket and grab the previously mentioned complimentary bike. The bikeride to the museum takes about 45 min depending on how fast you go of course and takes you through beautiful scenery. Its a joy really. Its The Netherlands though so make sure to check the weather before making plans ;-)
I am definitely adding this to my list for next time. Thanks for adding such a helpful comment-it will be great for anyone visiting soon that might come across my video :)
Well, the story about those two houses is actually more funny. They were owned by a guy who apparantly had some connections. So, he found out that there were plans to build the hotel and the company behind it was buying up the land. So the owner, knowing that the company was already invested raised the prices to a completely unreasonable level, thinking they had to buy it anyway or cancel the entire project... Well... You can see what the result of that plan is! :D
😅 he definitely wasn’t expecting that one haha
One advice; never by the Stroopwafels at the Van Wonderen shop! There overpriced and not that special at all. Just get them from any regular supermarket and they will taste just fine.
Ohhh Great tip! I agree, I tried supermarket ones and they’re very similar to the packaged fancy ones. Though the fresh, warm ones are a big difference 😄
funny you been to heineken with their headquathers building is like the freemasonlogo from above, you know that kinda people that hate us thats why our country called the home of the c4b4l . Yes were so happy with those clowns lol
One of the best travel videos I’ve seen about Amsterdam. ❤
Thats such a compliment thank you!!!!!!!! 😄
I moved to Amsterdam from NY and love watching videos from tourists to see their perspective of this city I now call home. I actually learned something new watching your video. I unknowingly filmed the flower bike man the other day while sitting in the dentist's office. My husband was getting some work done when I saw a man riding a decorated cart bike while pushing another decorated bike simultaneously. I recorded a quick video to show my husband and while watching your video realized it was the flower bike man!
That is a big move but sounds so exciting, congrats! 🤩 I also love watching tourist videos of NYC so I totally get it lollll and yes!! That is so neat, I wish I saw more of his bikes while walking around… the story behind it is just so so cute and sweet 🥹 TY for watching! ❤️
I want to know what you all do for a living being able to pay those prices??!! 😅
Cool video! Will you be coming back to The Netherlands to see other places than Amsterdam?
Yes! I definitely plan to, just don’t know when yet haha
Just to be honest, but why does every tourist only want to go to Amsterdam??? What’s the hype? So much more to see then a tourist infested Amsterdam! Just saying as a dutchy….
It’s a valid question! My best guess (as an American tourist) is that we tend to have fewer vacation days so when we visit we have less time to check out other cities
Yeah, okay I understand, but still, Amsterdam???
To experience red light district.@@markockeloen8329
Lolllll yes there’s that too
Hoor ik daar een lama schijten? Jij gaat zeker nooit naar Londen, Parijs of Rome?
Did you buy a single day ticket every day to ride the tram\buses??
We bought pay-per-ride, since we would usually walk to the destination while stopping for food and checking out small shops along the way. Then at night if we were really far away and too tired we would take the tram :)
You check-in with your debit-credit card in train, metro, tram en bus. There are also 24h en 48h tickets.
@@bymichlea thank you so much!
Nice video! I'll be leaving for the Netherlands and Belgium in 2 weeks. I'll be spending 4 days in Amsterdam, 1 day in Bruges and 2 days in Antwerp. Can't wait!
Ohhhh that sounds lovely!! I’ve never been but Bruges is on my list… it looks SOOO pretty
nice !! i leave for Amsterdam tomorrow for 4 days . thankfully , i have a friend who lives there with whom I’m staying with. excellent video !
Have a fantastic trip! Hoping you have some fun things planned :)
I live in Los Angeles but have always wanted to live in NYC. Something about it - the energy...I know I'm glamorizing it but it just seems like such a vibe. Thanks for the tours!
Yes!!! NYC has such a unique vibe… a little grungy, very chaotic, and glamorous all at the same time haha
Can’t believe you got to see the Pikachu exhibit!!
It was so so cute ☺️
I LOVE Amsterdam, it’s such a cool city. Never did the Tony’s chocolate before tho, definitely going to do that next time!!!
It is!! I NEED to go back again I feel like there’s still so much I haven’t done
What’s your contact info? I have a job for you based on 6:25 👀👀👀
Don't rent a place with Gas issues it will come back And also corner unit is best. You need a view. South or West facing North or East will be hard to heat. Bathroom needs to be functional not pretty you won't live in there Thick curtains will cut out Street noise
ohhh i love these tips, ty! especially since I've never thought about curtains cutting out street noise
So expensive l won’t even bother
Our family is making a big move from the south to the metropolitan area. We have not decided on New York or New Jersey but I am telling you we are looking at McMansion rentals for $4000 in Jersey I think we are going for Jersey! These rents are ridiculous for what you get, but thank you for your informative videos. They are very very good.
Wth is it about New York and that ridiculousssssss rental prices
What do you do for a living? And you are correct, the rent prices are crazy. Way too expensive for such little amount of space.
I work in sourcing and procurement! I have a couple videos on it in case you’re interested :)
Thanks for sharing 👍
