THAT WAS INSANE, pure chaos in the endgame, holyyyy! I felt the adrenaline just watching it omfg. Very well played, altruistic survivors all too often spell their own demise, but you won the game back in spades. Awesome vid!

Nah it feels a lot like a nerf and im a bit sad that people arent understanding it, stick with me for a while the Pearl addon nerf was huge, they made it go from having 20 secs of CD reduction to 12 secs of CD reduction, and that is NOT compensated by the fact that 2 spells are 3 seconds shorter, fly is good now i agree but, at what cost? To be clunky after you cancel your CD? That just removes a lot of the mindgames which were fun, mage hand also getting another unnecessary nerf, overall and after testing on PTB I still prefer a lot more the live version.

As someone who mains vecna, these changes are mixed. I like thee buffs they did since I wanted them for a very long time however mage hand shouldn't of got a nerf, he now will feel clunky with thee spell canceling and dispelling sphere is not as bad but it was unnecessary to nerf. Revert all thee nerfs since they are unnecessary and vecna doesn't need nerfs

i agree with basically everything you've said honestly. i don't the sphere or spell canceling will do much in reality and personally i feel like the mage hand nerf isn't even that bad considering it's only 2s increase when every other spell got such big buffs that it kind of offsets mage hand

Well, as a Vecna main myself, i think its still more of a nerf unfortunately. Lets say the idea was to reduce his reliability on CD addons. Before this update, having at least one CD addon still felt sometimes like you still need more reduction, because if you misplayed one of the spells, any hope to having fast chaye is gone. Now it will be even less forgivable. With this change you can either play without CD addon and it will be even worse with former addonless version, or you still stick with addon and only change will be stronger Fly and weaker MH.

The change that makes me believe it was more of a nerf (at least in terms of skill expression) is the spell cancel cooldown. I tested it in PTB and, besides the natural lag, it felt so bad and cluncky. It's a severe nerf to mage hand and to FotD too (I commonly hold it near windows to make survivors second guess themselves, bodyblock the window and then hit).

I do not know what to say besides these survivors have been hard carried by items and perks for their entire DbD career. In one way, I'm optimistic that they learned something. In another way, I just......what are they doing, I can't.

FINALLY, like using flight of the damned is just a matter of timing and surprise! Especially with the small window for him to have an instant summon of his flighted of the damned especially when on loops, he’s surprisingly a very strong loop killer even without his mage hand to help!

7:00 unfortunately the like button was already pressed so mage hand removed it. Flight of the damned missed the target cause the subscribe button was too far away (so I'm still subscribed) and the comment section had the magic item and dodged the sphere. I saw it however and used the fly spell, but they went back through the window. 🤡 Jokes aside tho, that's a good video, some things, particularly with the flight spell I didn't even know yet

Saw your channel from the slugging vs hooking experiment video. I haven't played for 5 years and recently came back (cause old dbd devs were, uhm... Interesting in their balancing, to the point that I lost any and all faith in them snd even the perk and addon balance updates couldn't bring me back anymore) I used to be a nurse main, and was fully prepared to be one again, and to an extent I am, nurse is extremely fun to play with the mindgames and prediction blinks and is just my go to killer if I want to have a good time destroying survivors. However Vecna, aside from being a massive fan of the lore, is SO MUCH fun to play, I honestly love the dnd/wizard versatility feel to him and even as a survivor I love playing against him. It honestly feels like a completely different game compared to your usual killers that only have 1 gimmick. While I'm not so much a fan of dracula, idk why, he just doesn't feel the same to me, I absolutely love the direction behavior is going in with giving some killers multiple more versatile powers, instead of a single bad or good one. And while nurse satisfies my competitive itch of wanting to be as good and optimal as I can, aka go full sweaty, Vecna almost certainly satisfies the pure fun itch for me. Didn't know there even were any streamers/youtubers that are vecna mains, but definitely gomma stick around as I definitely wouldn't mind more Vecna content. Especially content like this, as I'm still very new to the killer having come back less than a week ago and played Vecna less than a few days ago. His playstyle and addons are so different from anything else, especially old dbd, that I honestly struggle to find anything useful out of them, the only useful one being removed that made mage hand quicker, tho I fully understand why it had go as 0 counterplay isn't exactly fun nor balanced to go against, I do wish tho I had seen the ridiculous mage hand speed for myself, it looked absolutely silly xD But yeah, honestly just the video I needed to give me a better perspective on when and how to use them. Time to become a fully fledged lich I mean Vecna main and overthrow the entity!!!
