How Will Donovan Clingan Fit with the Portland Trail Blazers?
Way to go John Fanta !!
Great podcast! Go Huskies!
Welcome Back Alex! Drive, take the shots. Score 20+ a game. It will help take the pressure off the youngsters. Kemba lead that freshman Sophmore class to a ring. Love watching you play. One of the few complete and smart players in college hoops.
Alex is amazing!!!!
Alex needs to look more into scoring and getting to the basket. He has the ability to play more selfishl and more aggressive
Get the Zags at MSG. Home away from Home !
Alex back again ! Great game vs. Texas ! Go Huskies !
JK, TY for excellent interview. One of your best. Fanta Unleashed is a bucket full of data. Fanta is top 2 guests on the show. ‘Preciate ya both
MILF (Man I Love Fanta)
John Fanta: “Worry about yourself”. Great advice.
Who doesn’t love some Johnny Fanta. Love the Goodman pimp slap 👋 Fanta!!! Atta boy! Call that crap out for what it is…
John, you remind me of the 1980's celebrity Big East game callers Bill Raftery and Dick Vitale. Ya you're that great, and you would have fit in perfect with the 80's Big East era of coaches as well, who had style, "type-cast," and real personality. Do one thing for me John, never change!
How much fun is it to see CCSU beat the likes of Holy Cross, UMass, St Joes!! Keep up the great team work… !
Fanta is awesome for jumping on a smaller show like this. I'm really surprised Kotler's channel isn't growing faster. He does a great job. Fanta, congrats again on the upcoming bundle of joy!
Uconn is back! Exciting game vs Gonzaga coming up. Stop Nemhard, you stop the Zags!
Ya , John Fanta is a great guest. I enjoy his input / analysis.
John Fanta makes CBB better. Absolutely made to be sports announcer! My dream would to have Gus Johnson and John Fanta do a UConn game together.
Great guest! Fanta is da man!!
Beat Gonzaga & UConn should be closer to # 10 than to # 15 .
Coach Hurley & Staff got about 5.5 days to prepare for Gonzaga.
I think when it's all said & done..... Will the UConn Guards be able to play Defense in March & hopefully April ? ?
yes they will
Remember this is the first season for most of them. Diarra is already playing great defense, Ball needs to pick it up but he will. A lot of experience to be gained in BEast play
Social media likes to overreact to positive results but loves to tear down people even at the hint of trouble. Both lead to more eyeballs.
I wish someone coulda talked Cling Kong & Steph Castle into coming back for one more year ! Would be 3 Peat for sure.
The world does not revolve around a 3-peat.
What a Treat ! We get Dave Borges today ! Keep him coming back !
How are we going to match up height wise against Baylor ?
UConn is Taller. Baylor Tall guy is 6-7 , " 6-8 on a good day " ( said by a RUclipser ) 😂
thank you Seth
Idk how you can speak on those first two games and not mention the refs. Our guys made some stupid fouls but for the most part they lost to the guys in white and black who had it out for us from the tip. We win those first two and we aren't coming into the Dayton game completely deflated. I hope we never go back to Maui after the way they treated us out there. All that said... We found lots of things we needed to work out with a very young team and Dan has got something to motivate the kids outside of the threepeat
Time and Talent. UConn has the time and I believe it has the talent. We will know in the next 7 weeks.
just get in the dance baby
I've always loved Seth
Can anyone honestly watch the tape of those games and say they were officiated fairly and evenly? By the 3rd game UConn was playing scared to get called for fouls. It was really horrendous officiating and God forbid anyone says it. Amazing that one team can be commended for "playing physical" and the other team can't come close to matching the physicality without getting called every time.
Seth lost all my respect... Watching him on ESPN nothing of substance just throwing UConn and Hurley under the bus... And here captain obvious. 🤮
Johnson has no business starting. Diarra is simply too reckless at times to be the starting pg hes far better and more effective as an energy guy off the bench. Karaban is not "the guy" material. Hes at his best as a 2nd or 3rd option. Solo Ball needs to be more assertive offensively as he should and is totally capable of putting up 20 points a night. The big problem is the defense. Its just horrendous. I have no doubt itll get fixed eventually. Too good a coaching staff and far too much talent on the court.
I agree with your comment. I'd like to see Nowell starting at PG and obviously Reed at 5. Hassan and Aidan can start games that don't require as much size. I like the point you make about AK, he is not a natural leader and that is ok. I'd like to see him continue to refine his pure ball skills. I think Reed, Liam and Solo can be leaders. Lian is a natural leader regardless of age.
still surprised Dan when w a shorter backcourt after the last 2 yrs with big tall imposing guards...
Huskies were two possessions away from a 2 and 1 record in the tournament. So there is a possibility they can turn it around. Gonna need to junk up the defense. That said, they have been at it for 6 months. This year's ceiling might be the top 4 in a weak Big East.
Your right coach…it’s November. They blew January in 2023 and won it all.
UConn big trouble they have no point guard theygot hustled
UConn by 20 over Memphis
From what I have seen, the Huskies are ripe for an upset. A big, strong, experienced team will give our guards fits. Need shoot more than 40% from 3 to prevail. 🤞
You know what fans enjoy most??? When a player makes a fantastic shot and immediately goes back to playing defense! The self aggrandizing and “look at me I done made a dookie” after sending a ball through the hoop is ridiculous and looks foolish! Want to impress the scouts? Act like it happens all the time and go about playing the game! The “syringe to the arm” 💩 is cringe-worthy!
Great pod! Now I have to check out Bricco
@@SanctuaryGardenLiving you won’t regret it!
These are the best!!!
Love this guy! And have been really enjoying these Karaban / Kotler podcasts, by the way.
Happy birthday, Alex! Wishing you a fun day and a wonderful, successful year ahead! You are definitely the one to watch this year at the Huskies fight their way to a 3-peat!
AK is gonna go down as one of the greatest Huskies of all time him returning this season is so crucial to a deep run he’s a born leader, embodies Hurley’s coaching philosophy completely & trusts in his system, he’s always composed & focused in the moment, knows when & how to fire his teammates up after a stretch of bad plays, high IQ on both ends to communicate when guys are out of position his number will go on the wall as a 3x champion
21:40 nevermind just found out he listens to Rod Wave DIARRA FOR POD
The " Brain Center " ! Leading by example & getting that Rabid Husky Defense back !
Your not stealing anything Alex. Your the leader and have been longer than you realize.
Love AK's perspective
AK gonna get that 3 peat for UCONN 🏆🏆🏆
let's go
