Thanks for sharing this humorous short film. The format, dialogue, body language and antics recall the silent films by Buster Keaton. Jacob as Aurelius, Esquire, exaggerates his gestures and actions with his tall, slender, aesthetic, lean-muscle physique. The story accompanied by energetic, rag-time music was hilarious. :-)

Fever is clever. The hallucinations of the lad's maniacal, dissociated self that consumed all of the remaining loaf of sourdough bread is scary; he won't die of hunger, but by the blade of a kitchen knife wielded by his blood-thirsty, dissociated self. The lad's graphic tee shirt with the image of the Waning Crescent Moon is a reminder that the next phase, the New Moon, is totally dark, so there will be more darkness before the Waxing Crescent Moon appears. The music selection set an ominous mood. Well done. :-)

The summer solstice has been recognized as the most spiritual, life-giving event by many cultures throughout history, and nuclear winter has become the symbol of total destruction of life on earth. Your graphic tee shirt of the rising sun is optimistic and hopeful, as is the daydream of your brother walking out of a dark room into an illuminated room. The scenes of you relaxing in the sunshine on the lawn were entrancing. :-)

Your attractive looks and friendly, warm voice enhance the narration of your imaginative puppetry and storytelling. In "Onion Capers", you demonstrated your appealing, fluid, dynamic acting skills. :-)

SPOILER Deliverance -- An unauthorized exorcism. Exorcism -- release a spirit from an evil presence. Guy, a tall, lean, handsome, teenage lad, is collecting dead leaves from trees in Autumn. Guy is washing his hands OCD. He walks to an inscribed tombstone leaning against a mature tree in a rural location where his older Brother is buried. Guy has a collector fetish. He envisions a tall, lean, bearded lad sitting in an arm chair, a visual hallucination of his Brother. Guy accumulates 10 plastic bottles containing dead leaves. He experiences auditory hallucinations. He has a toy dog constructed out of braided cord, his only companion. He wears casual, clean clothes with fashion labels. He carefully arranges the ten bottles in a ritual circle next to the tombstone. He envisions Brother sitting in the arm chair close-up. Guy reverently kneels down on the bottles with steepled hands and bowed head. Guy senses a presence behind him, lays his head on the ground inside the circle to listen closely and is shocked when he hears an auditory hallucination of his Brother. Guy runs to get a shovel to exhume his Brother. Guy has second thoughts and drops the shovel. He observes the deciduous trees with dead leaves in contrast to the evergreen conifer trees. Guy gathers up the bottles. He returns to his home where he envisions the arm of a lad behind a door to the room in front of him and his Brother sitting in the chair in a room on his right side, and then the hand of a third lad pulling the door closed in a room behind him, all of which are visual hallucinations. Guy returns to his Brother's grave and kneels down over it on his hands and knees. He hallucinates seeing his Brother walk up to him. He stands up, and they smile and embrace one another joyfully. Now the deciduous trees are covered with green leaves in Spring, and Guy is embracing nothing but air. His Brother has disappeared. Guy walks away and sits against another tree to reflect on his experiences. One of several possible interpretations: The death of Guy's older brother caused deep grief and denial, and he experienced hallucinations to protect him until he was ready to accept the fact of his brother's physical death. But his insightful observation of the deciduous trees was a reminder that the root of the trees were still alive, and the older needles of the pine trees eventually fall to the ground as new green needles appear, both of which are part of the continuous carbon cycle of nature -- Dust to dust, ashes to ashes. Guy's older brother was not dead in spirit as long as Guy remembered him in his heart. Guy still had his toy dog to remind him. Guy experienced the resurrection of faith and hope in the human spirit to prevail under all circumstances. Everything about this short film was done well: the script, acting, costumes, filming, directing, editing and music selection. The handsome lad portraying Guy was a bonus. The story wouldn't have worked as well with a Ouija board, an urban location or well-meaning family and friends trying to help him overcome his sadness.

If "Fever" is intended as a reference to the covid times, I get it. Otherwise, it's good creepiness. The loaf of bread introduced at 1:32 changed at 1:49 and again at 1:56. Notably, at 1:49, the bread resembled something with a huge tongue whereas the other two may have been the same loaf with the end resembling a face.
