When i fit the regulator i wind 2 or 3 turns of PTFE thread tape to the bottle thread . If you try this method you will find the hiss of wasted gas is near enough eliminated . And you will get quite a lot of extra time welding with the bottle . Hope this tip that i always do helps a few people out there .

My carbon x-sight is simular but not made same way the head band connecting to helmet and the first 2 pieces on either side are not the same so its confusing puzzle.

I didn't see that regulator needle move at all when he spun the tap. Do ANY of these metered regulators actually work. All we see is reports worldwide from home users saying that they just don't. Is the disposable gas thing a con? Maybe these dealers now all swapped to selling nicotine vaping kits instead. Italy and Spain do relatively cheap cylinders so maybe the popular branded regulators are fixed so we have to buy expensive branded cylinders. Any other views out there ? I looked through Amazon reviews - mostly negative. US welders forums the same.
