When i fit the regulator i wind 2 or 3 turns of PTFE thread tape to the bottle thread . If you try this method you will find the hiss of wasted gas is near enough eliminated . And you will get quite a lot of extra time welding with the bottle . Hope this tip that i always do helps a few people out there .

My MST185 electrode holder ended up snapping right where it holds the rod. I was disgusted to find out that it was made of cheap cast iron material that was brass plated, Cheap ass pricks..

To me the most important thing is how you see through the lens, not stupid things, how you replace parts, or you clean it, welding is how you test a helmet, 40 years welding give the reason 😉

My carbon x-sight is simular but not made same way the head band connecting to helmet and the first 2 pieces on either side are not the same so its confusing puzzle.
