      It works well for 4x4 bales. 5x5 don’t fit as well. It doesn’t move as well as we’d hope. So we don’t move it much. But they tear up the ground so bad, at least it’s one spot. Thanks for watching.

    So the tree is dead after that or can you honey glue the wood back in and it survives?

    • @KowalskiMountain
      @KowalskiMountain 20 дней назад

      The tree split. It was already splitting but it finally broke. For now it’s still alive but with the hole in the bottom, where the bees entered, the tree will eventually begin rotting and die.

    • @michellec3100
      @michellec3100 20 дней назад

      @KowalskiMountain ok. We in Australia need to preserve tree hollows for wildlife (when they get overtaken by 'feral' introduced European bees. A dead tree is a good tree but only if the hollow is intact and no poison (that's why I watched yours, no poison👍) but no damaging of tree hollow. Glue might be too poisonous again for wildlife. Australians, I urge you to watch bee trapping (trapout) even it is heard breaking....

    • @KowalskiMountain
      @KowalskiMountain 20 дней назад

      we have done trap outs as well. This we did a cut out knowing the condition of the tree already. Dead trees are helpful To lots of wildlife and an important part of the ecosystem.

    I LOVE your "Coop Cozy". It looks so tuff, like it will stand up to the elements. Can you use some type of fastener (like zippers or velcro, but to equally stand up to the elements) to be able to remove sections as the weather warms or to add sections as it cools?

    Seems to me your time would have been spent somewhere else rather than sewing bags together. Tarps are really cheap at Harbor Freight, and if luck was with you they might last for a couple of years. Time is money and although you saved some money, you time is much more valuable. After all, you can't buy more time, but tarps are very cheap, and readily available. Just my two-cents.
