We dont have any caricatures in American entertainment. Never have.
SOOO CLOSE TO REALITY.
Hope this is the judge that puts the Orange Monster in jail.
Doctor Who legend Sir Patrick Troughton as the Judge.
Who is that stunningly attractive young lady!
Great British classic 😂
Courtroom trials would certainly have been a lot funnier had the 2 Ronnies and Patrick Troughton thought to go into that line of work! Hilariously funny! 😂🤣🙃🤪👍👍
Never got to see this, in years of watching "The Two Ronnies" on the PBS station in Chicago (WTTW) and being an avid lover of game shows, this was absolute GENIUS!
Posted 12 years ago, and we still await new scriptwriters and actors of this calibre. Any offers from other contributors? I pass.
Unbeatable.
To Ronnies at their best 😂😂😂
Always nice to see Patrick Troughton my favourite Doctor in anything. Superb actor and nice chap.
This film showed what Heartnells typecast was, the straight & serious figure where as Doctor Who gave him a chance to be a softer more likable character
People would laugh at anything back then!!
What do you laugh at now?
@@georgealderson4424 well i laugh at the insanity of other people, the hypocrisy and exceptionalism 👍 It was good that Morecambe and Wise both found Monty Python boring. Monty Python was absolute BS!!!
Some of this sketch was very funny.
Absolutely fabulous! An expat watching in Florida.
I really do miss the two ronnies
The precurser to Court TV! 😆
William Hartnell was extremely talented. (he was also very modest) He always used to come across as rather too serious. (mind you - many actors did in those days) He was extremely good-looking; women fancied him.(I did!) He looked much older when doing Dr. Who; one because of the make-up they used (because he was supposed to be an old man in the series) the other his health - he wasn’t old, though being in your fifties (for those young babes of today) you were knocking on a bit! He could pretty much do anything. Very underestimated as an actor. See some of his old movies. I think someone once called him ‘sexy’ when he was younger - but he didn’t like it!
Absolutely superb
I hadn't seen this one before ❤️
Brilliant
These two will forever be my top favourite comedy double act. Ronnie Barker, in particular, is one of my favourite comic actors. I love so many of his characters, from Arkwright to Fletcher and more.
About as serious as any of the liberal courtrooms currently infesting the western world at the moment.
You need to travel more.
Doctor who if it was a crime scene Hartnell: Jon you are under universal investigation for meddling Me: god isn’t going to be hard on you one slip up and you are in trouble with the law of the time lords 😠
Bloody brilliant
Best humour on the planet !!! Pure quality !! There are NO scriptwriters today of the same mental calibre to think.... such as the men & women of the bygone era only recently passed, not that long ago because today they can't think intelligent and the passion & drive is gone out of the writer's imagination ..... inept! Today, I believe we have stepped back into a mental void! So sad. I would store these video under lock & key, because they are so precious valuable & rare: They are fresh today as then...... l believe even more so today! I thank all the men & women who contributed to these creations.❤
He was dead. Lol.
Fabulous!!
This is as silly as anything Monty Python ever did (very funny though).
"Pennies from heaven" court scene........
*dudes suffer painful-looking fall down the stairs* "I hope I'm not interrupting you?" 😎
The Two Doctors, but better
What’s the film?
Fantastic comedy! Oh, a thought just occurred: could this trial be considered as the prequel to Porridge then?
Totally insane, loved it. These guys were so innovative at the time, both equally funny and talented.
Davian Winkweasle.
Brilliant.
Brilliant
My favourite TV series (The Avengers) & my favourite band (The Small Faces).
Great humour, sadly missed today.
I’ve seen this sketch so many times over the years and I’ve only just realised that it’s Patrick Troughton playing the judge!😂
thanks for this, these two are one of my favorites
George Cole would have made an excellent Tardis companion - or perhaps an outcast or rebel who allies with the Doctor
For me it all started with Python in the 70s! "I'm here for an argument ... no you're not ..."!
What was the conclusion of the police? He was dead
I liked what I didn’t see!
Eleven years ago it was funny because it was so implausible. These days it's too close to the bone.
compare this to todays so-called comedy on TV,
Mastermind with court issues 🤣👍
