Apenas o Contrabaixo da Musica
See kids you don't need a click track. Just good human feel and follow your damn drummer!!! I say that to my band all the time. Just follow me and shut up and will be fine. Yes i'm the drummer!!!
Timmy's tone is always sick af
KILLING IN THE CASEY!!!!!!!
Anyone know what Tim uses at 0:42 to get that tone?
it's a marshall the guv'nor pedal
Help the bear 🐻
That compressed stingray tone is on point!
4:44 I love this part
Such a bright tone with proper very low end! There was great engineering and mixing on this recording! You can tell by the fact that it sounds so odd when isolated but so right when in the mix!
🤤
THAT BASS TONE
Clean as fuck
Iconic music man tone. Beautiful bass.
Lot of overdrive when it kicks in
Sounds like a Musicman Stingray
Criminally underrated player.......get well soon prayers sent.
Yes, he is extremely underrated. I can hear & tell why Geddy Lee had such a impact on him.
Super clean articulation.
This song is nothing without the bass. It absolutely makes the song.
For sure… it’s a perfect example of a bassist providing rhythm and harmony perfectly just as a bassist should
Without bass, the song would look like the burger without meat
Tim is what makes all rage songs imo.
as a bassist I am confident enough that the bass guitar that was used on this is a stingray and not a jazz bass there is this distinct tone that only a stingray bass can only produce.
Wait, people treat this as an actual song? It's a bass guitar, it's supposed to be played with other instruments
No it's treated as an isolated track do you not know what that is?
@@harrisonmathews1406 are you stupid? Read my comment again
What is bro blabbering about
Crazy I can hear where the cowbells should be
Fuzz, high treble + boosted lows, split signal, cut mids, finger style on a jazz bass/Ray with more sense of groove than most before him. This Man created an entirely new style of Bass with minimal practice or training. Timmy C the OG, underappreciated. Name another who sounds like him, I dare you
Some bit reverb a intro.
It's a Ray, on the open D you can hear the "click" when the string kinda hits the pole piece on the pickup
It's Ray, its got the parallel sound which is different to series like a Jazz, the scoop is different.
DRIIIIIIIVE! FUUUUZZZZZ!
Sounds fuckin great to me!
Most overrated band in the whole universe
Not even close dude nobody's overrated like U2 & The Rolling Stones.
0:42 I nutted.
que maravilha, meu deus
Ahh yes my favorite part. 4:13
4:12 My right hand started to hurt just listening to this.
I think you use the phase 90 on this song with a bunch of reverb
its a marshall guv nor from the 80s, ur welcome. oh and about 4000 worth of vintage svts. low action, tight roundwounds
Just Got a boss Gt-1B, what effect should I use to sound like this track (besides learning how to play bass properly:-)?
All the clacking and string noise and the fact that some notes are a bit off makes it feel just right, good time doesn't equal good feel
When I do that little run in the second verse i usually use the open g string to make it easier - don’t think he uses that hack?
The Stingray is not a bass to be toyed with.
I wonder what Rick Beato thinks of this?
The real question is what does Corey Taylor think?
Love how reverb goes full distorted berserk in a nanosec
Procorat distortion…
Pretty cool riff
hey it's the dude that climbed that one thing at that one thing
Also, the best bass tone is from evil empire soooooo
That reverb sounds bloody awful, but in the context of the track it works.
It's pretty obvious that this is the original track. Just sayin'
wow, this is from the album recording? how do you find stuff like this?
There are programmes you can do this with.
Probably from games like Guitar Hero which have isolated tracks
pq os dislike??? será q o pessoal n sabe oq é uma track d baixo isolada???
One of the song that made me love a stingray. The signature growl is iconic
I always liked Tim's bass playing because he was one of the few that used harmonics and used them well. I always knew he had a little bit of Jaco in him. Keep in mind this is coming from a drummer 😉
I mean jaco was a drummer before he was a bass player
Always loved the stingray rattle
WOW. Das kann ja nun wirklich jeder Idiot nach 1 Stunde spielen und zwar ohne Vorkenntnisse.
Timmy C. is why I want to learn to play Bass with my fingers very well over a pick.
I think this is played on his Music Man
