Missing channels? Lost your satellite signal? Here's how to refresh the SiriusXM radio in your car.
Refreshing your radio is like restarting your phone- if you're missing channels or having trouble with your signal, a refresh should fix it. Here's how to get your Radio ID (ESN) and send the refresh/activation signal to your radio.

This doesn’t do anything
OUT OF THE BLUE TODAY FOX NEWS, FOX BUSINESS NEWS, AND RADIO CLASSICS SIMPLY DISAPPEARED INCLUDING DELECTED FROM THE CHANNEL LISTING ON MY CAR RADIO. THE CHANNELS WERE AVAILABLE ONLINE AND ON THE APP. i HAVE NO IDEA WHY. I TRIED 2 REFRESHES AND IT RESOLVED THE PROBLEM AND THE CHANNELS REAPPEARED. EVERYONE HAS A CHANNEL 0 ON THEIR RADIO. SCROLL THE CHANNELS AND YOU WILL FIND IT. IF NOT YOU REALLY DONT NEED IT. LOGON TO YOUR SIRIUSXM ONLINE ACCOUNT.....GO TO SUBSCRIPTIONS......AND YOU WILL SEE YOUR RADIO ID. YOU CAN EVEN CALL SIRIUSXM AND REQUEST A REFRESH VERBALLY AND THEY WILL COMPLY. JUST MAKE SURE YOUR CAR RADIO IS ON WITH A CLEAR SIGNAL THE ENTIRE TIME. GOOD LUCK.
The issue I have is that Sirius XM literally bounces from channel to channel on its own so much so that it's unlistenable.
What about “check antenna” message ? Usually a cable ?

Hearing impaired people cannot follow as you speak so fast. Need video that slows the process down and/or a hard copy.
You can slow down any RUclips video. Once the video starts (*not an the ads* click on the little gear icon on the lower right corner of the video. You'll see "playback speed". It will likely be on "normal". Click on that and you'll see you can speed up or slow down the video in .25% increments. Remember to change it back to normal as it won't change back by default:) I know you're probably saying, I wish I knew this sooner:) Hope you find it useful. Your very welcome:)
My sirius xm decided to remove channel 100 Howard Stern and I don't know why. I sat outside for 20 minutes waiting for a code that never came. What can you do at your end to help me get my channels back?

You assume I know how to tune my satellite radio to channel 0. Bad assumption.
2016 Subaru legacy hasn’t shown a list of channels for years. Just finger pointing between Subaru and Sirius.
There is no channel Zero. Only 1 through 6. Garbage video. 💩
Service no longer available
I can't switch to channel XM2. The only channels I can switch to is 0, 1, and 160 -> 179
I've done all this, spent hours with Seriux tech support, and even took my car to the dealership to have the satellite component checked, at SeriusXM's suggestion. Nothing worked. I cancelled my subscription, as no one could tell me why my SeriusXM spontaneously stopped connecting.

Didn't work for me. Updated pkg and hasn't worked since. Get sporadic sound but then no signal. Representatives said I wasn't getting a satellite signal now and needed to take to dealership. Crazy that since pkg update, no signal and then it will go in and out very briefly.

I was missing channels since I activated my new/ used radio last week. Tried the refresh, and it actually worked! Can't believe it but it's true.

Lost all my channels. I can get to some of them above channel 10. I don't use twitter so how do I reset my radio or do I simply cancel my subscription?

Two of three videos posted do not allow comments. Let that be a red flag to those of you who are new to Sirius. Beware the auto-renewal. It's almost impossible to find out in advance how much they're going to charge you, what plan they'll charge you for, or how long the term is. Mine shows $21.84 due in Jan 2022, which is suspiciously lower than the $71 I paid last year. I suspect they're trying to switch me to an automatic $21 per month, but cannot find any other info on the $21 renewal. Is it the same plan I have now? Is it $21 for one month, one quarter, one year? Each year you'll have to fight your way through this subscription renewal bullshit.
Can't you just call and ask them? I haven't had that problem yet, but I have another issue and figure if a refresh doesn't work, then I'll call.
@@BrandyBurke Have you ever spoken to or chatted with them? You get nothing but sales pitches and the roundabout, no straight answers.
@@DarqJestor No, I haven't had to call them. So far, my service has been impeccable but for the last week approximately, my service continues to fall. I get in my vehicle and take off and it's nothing but the ad for how to take out the service....I've been a subscriber since 2016. I am going to refresh and hope that resolves it. I'll be really p o'd if I go through that, then can't get a resolution by calling them---especially for the $$$ I pay for it.
@@BrandyBurke I've had no problems with the equipment or the service except for the renewal process. I only get the most basic plan because that's all I usually need. But the auto-renewal process always changes me from an annual plan ($71/yr) to a monthly plan ($21/mon or $252/yr). Another red flag with this company is that you cannot cancel service without first speaking with an agent, which is at least 10 min on hold and a 15-30 min sales pitch.

I enjoy siriusxm very much but I'm not getting the channels I have been enjoying. I was told that I would not be paying any more money till September, now here I am trying too get! My signal refreshed for about 3ta 4 hours now . Disappointed that is for sure.
They simply don't care.

Couldn't get to channel 0. found no problems with the diagnositcs by resetting radio to factory settings. Nothing helped.
