Majority of people in my community (excluding the youngest generations) genuinely believe that flat earth believers are a running gag set in motion by americans. The arguments and 'proof' presented by this flat earth community have made me question the authenticity of the whole concept. It has to be satire or a fundraising hoax??

For starters your diagram of a flat earth floating in space is completely wrong! You know nothing about flat earth which renders you mute on the subject! GO DO YOUR HOME WORK!

Did they ever stop to consider that the sun is observes as having a constant angular velocity from sunrise to sunset? And what is the sun rising or setting behind? And why does the sun always appear round and not oval as it should if it were a lampshade-like thing?

If this case (flat vs. spherical), would be that simple and obvious there wouldn't be so much discussion about it, both of these *theories* have flaws, except that the globe one is being protected by government and (created by Nazi's ) NASA. Did you have a look at nasa's finest moments when they fixed that hole in the space station? This is what we call ball earth engineering at it's finest, nice job isn't it, very professional! When i was a kid i started to learn how to fly model airplanes at the age of seven. When i was a few years older i started to build my own planes, and ofcourse had to fix them myself, that's part of the learning proces, my dad was teaching me everything. At the age of 12 if i would show my dad a repair like the genius repair nasa did on this leak he would laugh his ass of and say, "son i know you can do better, show me". So i would improve untill he would say "Well now that is what i call a repair". Wel now i am a "little" bit older, have some more experience and when looking at this marvel of engineering by nasa i can only say : "This looks like a repair made by a 5 year old". Is it that hard for nasa just to have a few emergency plugs available that can instantly seal a leak permanently in a professional way?? Al they need to do is make something that looks like a washer but instead of a hole it would have a small dimple or a round plug on it (in the center )depending on the thikness of the skin to repair. Is it a thin skin then a dimple would be used so the sides of the hole would be pushed just a little bit outward, stiffening the skin just like lighting holes in a wingrib. and de dimple would fill the hole completely. Around the dimple a seal can be installed so the airpressure would seal the hole automatically. Ad some adhesive around the seal on that washer and the plug would stay in place forever. Is it in thiker material it could be a plug with the size of the hole and the thikness of the skin, the rest would be the same They could make this in several sizes, just give the astronots some reamers of those sizes so they can make sure the hole is nice and round and always the right size. What would they do if a jagged hole would appear, they have to make sure there are no concentrated stress forces when repairing it with there goo or the skin will rip. Instant repair kit for all hole sizes, ream the hole, remove the protective sheeting on the adhesive and voila hole fixed permanently, not even worth talking about. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to come op with something like that. Wel now you know what i think of all of nasa, they should have come up with the idea even before the ISS was finished? If the earth was flat, we should be able to dig a hole into outer space.

If the spinning globe was real, you could observe part of a spinning globe at 35,000 feet. It's impossible for earth to be spinning because earth doesn't have the ramifications of said spin. You can pretend you are measuring earth's rotation with a pendulum or some other gadget, but it's impossible for earth to be rotating. There is a reason why you can't observe part of a spinning globe at 35,000 feet. There is a reason why you have never seen a picture or video of part of a spinning globe.
