So if I can ask, I’ve just had VW do a burn because of a fixed engine light on. The day after that I got it back I drove 350kms and bang back she comes back on. Do you think that this could be a faulty sensor? They were talking about replacing the whole dpf system if that burn didn’t work when they done it.

My car is making noise but underneath the steering. Why? What’s the problem, any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Mate not only did this fix the low idle and engine stalling issue, it has fixed the throttle response. 2010 Mazda 6 GH 2.5L. Ever since I've had the car it's always had a 1 second delay after pressing the throttle pedal for the engine to react and accelerate. This resulted in a jerking on takeoff. I cleaned the throttle body with a throttle body spray cleaner and toothbrush. Also got a MAF sensor spray cleaner and spray cleaned that. Car is running so nice now, even better than when I got it. I think this throttle body clean should be done every 100,000km.

I am not sure how you came to the conclusion that it was a coil. Had this car got a twin coil pack. Is it a waste spark coil?

I always find the ats scope a bit too "complicated". It has a very crowded screen. I gues if you use it daily you get used to it (I don't own one - way too expensive for me).

Well played. Who would’ve ever guessed that a coil would cause a long crank? At first I was thinking CAM sensor for sure. Then you noted it being a wasted spark system and they fire on both stokes anyway.

This happens when I do a cold river crossing and the radiator freezes over. Once it's warm, it goes away.

High resistance in the load side, contacts. Replaced a few before.

I wished you showed how you removed the carbon. You said to just wipe it with solvent, ie, not spray flood, so I guess it's because it dissolves the grease in the throttle shaft bearing.
