Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I noticed an error in your video 1:35-1:38. Longitude is up and down and Latitude is from side to side (left to right or right to left)
I'm studying for the part 107. this is a clear explanation of airspace classes. thank you
I thought latitude is from west to east and longitude from North to South
Thank you, this was so helpful!
excellent thanks
My brain just exploded
Excellent! Thanks so much for putting this resource together and out into the world!
Hey Drone Tribe, You need to get your answer corrected on Question #2, it is "B. 700 feet AGL" NOT "A". Seriously, if your going to make these kind of videos...get it RIGHT !
Solved 4 hours of frustration in about 15 mins. Thank you!
I just took the FAA 107 test on April 18th and got a score of 90. No online classes. I just studied every video I could find on RUclips as well as reading various articles and recommended study guides. Don't bother trying to memorize online sample test questions. You need to learn why and how regulations are the way they are and how they apply to various scenarios. Out of 60 questions on the test only about 20% were covered in those videos and study guides. The test I took was made up of questions you could answer only by studying weather systems, METAR reports, sectional charts, airspace, and various regulations covering drones and some common sense.
Very well presented!
Passed my exam with a 98% Thanks so much for posting these videos!
Bro you literally saved me one of the best youtube channels for teaching about the drone test. Like seriously dude you made it so easy for me much appreciated!
Good stuff. I learned a few things that were not in the paid training I took!
Think these shelf numbers are in agl
Thank you!
I'm confused. Isn't the answer to question two B? A is MSL. I think you said it should be AGL. I'm not trying to be difficult but I am confused.
You are the best
Filled with wrong information!!!
Your video is one of my favorites. Great job on your presentation, very VERY comprehensive! Thank you!
Successful done with HACKERSAFETY on !!!!!!g they are legit
The compass rose on the Salinas airport is indicating the Salinas VOR and the dot indicates it is located on the airport
Killer video, thank you for helping
Justin, Great video. However, Q8 about CG limits, I would think (c) the aircraft weight and balance handbook would be the best source. ? That is where to look in a Cessna...
Quick, but VERY helpful.... Thanks!!!!
Very very very helpful!
Justin this was the best of the best. I've enrolled in a class and found this and it was excellent for me. I'm taking my test next week. This was gold. Going to watch the others. Funny is when you click on the 3 day study course link it goes to some spam page and you can do nothing. Thanks again.
Also on question #5, when you see the square bracket, it's always from the surface right? So shouldn't the answer be 3000 feet AGL?
Hi, in question #2, the answer should be: B 700 feet AGL (The answer on the video is A which points to MSL which is incorrect). Just thought I should point it out... Good video though. Thanks!
Great; thank you.
Thanks for the video very helpful.
nice job 👍
I believe the answer to Question #2 contains an error in the blue text. The voiceover specifies that it is AGL, and that lines up with the FAA website about MOST class E airspace. However, the blue answer text shows an answer that actually doesn't exist at all in the three possibilities. It says "A" but then also says "AGL." I belive the answer should be "B. 700 AGL"
Is just me or is there a inconsistency on question 2? He says the answer is "A. 700 feet AGL". I'm confused . The choices show option A as "700 feet MSL".
Great news! I'm still waiting for my bird. Got a ways to go here. Keep going strong. I love to see your success!
Mazel tov good sir, thanks for sharing great content!
Thank you for doing this - I am following along! I did try the pano thing with my Mavic 2 Pro today, but I only see a flattened distorted image. Any advice on how to make an interactive, 360 degree pano with the images in PS and/or LR? Thanks so much, again, for doing this - these are actual, concrete steps to follow.
This is great - I haven't made one myself yet but will do some testing. I believe Hangar has tools to stitch the images together and host them online which can be then embedded on other websites. I'll share what I discover.
Following you on your journey as mine is similar. Thanx for sharing.
Hi, I got a few questions, I live in San Diego California and I do have a good job now, but I love and have the passion for drones and I like to do some of the types of videos you are making, can you give me some recommendations? 1- : do you have the license? 2- : do you do this full time? 3-: do you use small drone for the inside? 4-: what drone you use for outside?
1) yes 2) yes 3) Mavic Air is the smallest drone I own 4) Mavic 2 series Best of luck!
Hey Dustin. As I'm developing my website, I have come up with a few questions. I know a site can do all kinds of marketplace things, order, accept payments and so on but to keep it simple I wonder about payments. Payment 1st or payment upon delivery. As a consumer I would only like to pay once I've seen the product. But what if someone is given access to their photos via Dropbox for example, downloads them but doesn't pay. Any thoughts on how to approach that? Small claims? Baseball bat? What are your thoughts? I really love your detail so far! Excellent work!
With services, payment is usually given in full when delivered, or 50% upfront and 50% upon delivery. Because I'm structuring this business to be a "product" business, my goal is to accept payment and orders online as the first step to taking on a new project. We'll see how that goes. My thought process is that if it's a product, it's just the same as something you would order from Amazon. I'm not too concerned with non-payment after given access to their photos. My thought process is about abundance and that people are generally good and do the right thing. That's not always the case, but it's a simple way to go about life.
@@DroneTribe Thank you. I'm just used to honest handshake deals. My experience on places like FB Marketplace has jaded me a bit but I'm sure real estate agents and FSBO owners will be very happy with our product.
Here is my question. Do you contact realtor businesses or individual realtors? I made of list of all our business offices in my town which is about 15 offices. Do you think it's better to go to the office and try and find someone in charge or make contact with each individual realtor. That would be hundreds of people. What do you think?
Great question. There's something to be said about going for the office level because of the potential scale. However contacting individuals can also be a great route. I'll be doing a mixture of both and seeing what is more effective!

@@DroneTribe I think I'll start at the branch office and grab cards and see who I can talk to. I'm still working on my site, then cards and shirts and hats
Interesting stuff and ideas on your website venture. I use my drone videos to market my t-shirts online and always looking for other venues using my drone footage. Thanks.
Your venture is really inspirational.
On question 2 you have the answer as 'A', 700 feet AGL. That is actually 'B' not 'A'
What a great start
Looking good. I checked off a few things, though not as many a you :). I'm working on the website (that I may take some (a lot) of the ideas from yours. I do have a business name and a URL, so that's a start :) Expecting my logo to be delivered tomorrow...
Thank Chris, best of luck. My website is merely an inspiration, apply your own knowledge and research into v1 of your website!
So glad you are doing this. I have your pilot license course and plan to start droning for my upcoming season this summer. I like your format, other trainers tell you what to do, you actually have the nerve to show us how it is done! Keep it up!
Thanks Sam. The goal is transparency in this process, and teaching what I know (and learn along the way).
The timing on this process that you're doing couldn't be better for me. I've been wanting to start a similar "side hustle" and now seems like a great time. I met you at an Interdrone conference in Vegas (I think) and also bought your Part 107 test prep material. I love your stuff, and this video was awesome, as well. I'll see if I can keep up with your pace, and maybe even post some of my progress. Thanks, Dustin!!
Awesome to hear from you again Chris. Let's do it!
Great information. I'm going to need new income due to Covid-19
