You’re right about the way gear looks in the professional world. In Nashville I worked at a production company and I was the cinematographer using a black magic rig. When I was doing shoots on the streets I would get stopped by so many people for work opportunities. I live in Mexico now and wouldn’t feel comfortable with all the stares in public. But I just purchased the fx30 to shoot my Dj sets and will have it rigged out for those and for when I start traveling again. Nice rig bro

Not sure if you know, but you can turn off 2 features in the secret menu to make the TV brighter / not dim. Google it. I think the app I used for the secret menu is called color control. Do your own research. Disable features at your own risk. But to me it fixed some big dark scenes problems. I thought it was too dark for years using it. Didn't know I could fix it.

Nice but i prefer the Rigid Pro from Australia, it has much more logical build i,e mounting the 'shim" onto the actual camera cage then the screwing the whole setup into the Rigid pro., I also like the additional felt paddin g and that the on/off switch is not underneath where the screen goes and is in a much more sensible place. In addition there is a rather large blue voltage output display on the side of the Rigid Pro. THe ONLY thing that Cineback has over the RIgid Pro is that you can reverse the D-Tap ports. Delivery is quite fast too, i ordered on xmas eve and recieved it a week later-all the way from Australia to Malta and postage was as cheap as chips. This is what I dont get about the USA, THE USA IS MUCH closer to Malta than Australia is yet Delivery from the USA is hideously expensive. postage to anywhere outside of the USA is jsut silly Besides I always vote with my principles and since the USA is ALWAYS bragging on 'The WEB; that they are the +1 nation then they dont need my business and so I would rather give Australia (who doesnt brag at all) my money-being a British/Irish gentleman -living in Malta as Australia are family whilst the USA isn't. Plus the stupidly high cost to get ANYTHING sent from the USA shipping from the USA is 81 USD shipping from Australia is just 14 Eueo (about 16 USD) no contest! DHL insured and Expedited So by the way the Septic Tanks act on the web plus the hideous cost to post, then i vote Rigid Pro-even though both are basically the same and its fair to say Rigpid PRO started by attempting to order a cineback but it was out of stock-so they made their own. It could be said that Rigid Pro is a COPY of Cineback, but the former is a MUCH improved version,.

I sold a lot of gear to buy a Leica & I almost got the Q2. Once I realized that 90% of my prints were in black & white, I got a used Q2 Mono. After one shooting session with it at night, I knew it was the right choice. I did start to miss color a little bit after a little over a year & thought about getting a Q3 43, but then I remembered I was poor 😂. Instead, I’m going to try to find a used Canon M6 MK II & the EOS-M 32mm lens. I’ve heard it’s remarkably good & I can afford that

I love mine. Its the only tv that has rolling scan bfi at 120hz. It can make 30fps games look amazing in motion. ps2, xbox360, ps3, og xbox, look great on it with a retrotink 4k. I you are a retro gamer and dont like crts and want better motion at 30fps then get one. Im waiting for a qd oled to have the same bfi but I use a tv until it dies so will see what comes out by then.

I got an used Q2M and I love it because of exactly what you said. It has made me a better photographer. It makes you look more at everything you see and be more creative. There is liberation thru limitations that you experience using this camera.

I do love mine, but I've also been enticed by the Q3 43, given the longer focal length and flexibility and was considering trading one for the other. You've convinced me to think harder about it! If I can be patient, perhaps I'll find another way to ADD the Q3 instead of trading "up" to it. All well said - thanks!

Only thing I would say may require an upgrade is the audio, maybe it's the background noise that is too much or the microphone is not close enough. You have a great voice and pace so I think maybe have a portable pic that you put on your shirt? Like it's not warm if that make sense.

i love the c1. But in dark scenes it kinda flickering it cant hold the dark levels... and thats driving me crazy

or if you're feeling really adventurous, you can always try stripping the color filter off of a normal bayer sensor

Have a 65 and 77. They are phenomenal!!! I have light control in both rooms and have zero brightness issues. UHD blu ray is where mine really shines. The 77 inch has full 7.2.4 sonos system and it’s amazing.

Recently shooting deep b&w is the only thing that keeps me to photography. Don't have Leica but I found the way how to mimic it in my GFX and effects tastes good.
