The void for me was the deepest, condensed black you could imagine. So condensed it felt liquid. And it stretched on in all directions forever. It was a big open NOTHINGNESS. Like I had accidentally wandered into the blank slate of the universe. I was only aware that I was aware. I realized that I could move about, but I was afraid to because I couldn't see anything.

He made a good point that basically, there has to be a balance between love of others and loving ourselves. So many of us get our sense of selves by helping others (which is wonderful) BUT we have to do things that are good for ourselves as well. You can't pour from an empty cup. Life is so amazing. We are here to learn and learning that it's ok for me to be happy was a big revelation ❤

I believe consciousness is the reason we can't die. We have to 'be' somewhere. Even under anesthesia, we have to be experiencing some reality - we just probably can't recall it.

Ash Perrow, after the 20-minute mark, articulated very beautifully the difference between living from the mind as the director, as opposed to living from the heart as the decision maker. That is a huge realization, and one that takes a lot of practice to achieve! What a great guy with a beautiful soul expression.

I am not going to like the afterlife. Sounds too weird

I had a similar thought when I had my (almost) NDE I almost drowned as a kid. I was stuck under a heavy tube on a water raft ride at a theme park. Initially I struggled and was scared, but the fear and the pain in my lungs lifted and I could still feel myself struggling but I was not in pain or afraid. I thought, well, I’m going to die now, and it’s okay. The next thing I knew I was on the cement edge coughing my brains out. I don’t believe I actually died but I believe I was pretty close. And it’s kinda comforting to know that what’s usually thought of as a scary death, the pain and fear lifts, and whether the brain or spirit does it I wasn’t sure

I belive this man was at the gates of Hell. Jesus said: "" I'm the Truth the Way and the Life. No one goes to the Father except through me".

Touching story, but this guy needs to stop laughing at his guests.
