It's a little bit scary to send your new DJI Mavic Air out over the open sea for the first time - especially when the terns and seagulls start attacking it!! But with views like this, it's worth it

Sparrowhawk kills blackbird
Просмотров 26 тыс.10 лет назад
One Wednesday afternoon in our backyard. Warning: not for the faint hearted!! This sparrowhawk did not strike the female blackbird hard enough to begin with, so it turned out to be a cruel death!
this sparrowhawk should get a medal of honor blackbirds cost us Americans at least $180MILL in property dmg every year since 2019 and their numbers have only gone up their the most destructive of (ALL) the other bird species
This bird looks almost like a Coopers Hawk. Is it a male Sparrow Hawk? Some of these are not nearly so pretty!
Yes, it is a male (Eurasian) sparrowhawk 🙂.
Ибо сердца людей очерствели
Get over it.
Waaambulence, you dont understand a thing about starlings and the damage they cause.
No, they do property damage, how would you feel if it was your property being damaged?
Sparrowhawk is clever enough to kill black bird and feed himself
Quite striking to observe. After all, it’s a natural occurrence. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Switzerland.
How anyone could let a bird suffer for so long. You are basically a piece of shit.
Rule number one, if you wants to watch nature - don't interfere! How will you ever learn anything about it if you do. If you ever watch nature films, you'll see tons of stuff like this. Even worse you'll see how animals die from hunger or drowning, etc - not sure I could film that. In this case the sparrowhack is doing what they do out in nature - probably even feeding it's little ones with it. I'm just an observer - so are you - if you don't like it - don't watch it!
I've seen plenty of nature don't worry yourself about that. Uploading such a long video however is disgusting and unnecessary.
Uhuh! And you would interfere and starve every Sparrow Hawk and other bird of prey on earth to death? You can put bird seeds out but they won't eat them, won't even taste them. God did not make them that way my friend. Nature is cruel, savage and down right vicious most of the time.
She couldn't understand why you were not helping her. I couldn't live with myself if I had done what you did. ...made a youtube video. I have a feeling those eyes will be judging you again, I'd be curious to know how your life goes. .....
It beggars belief how much of a fucking idiot you really are.
Are you being serious? What planet are you from? This is how wild animals survive, so we can enjoy their fascinating prescense for years to come! They can't go to the butcher and buy fresh meat, can they? And why on earth would you prevent this beautiful bird from getting its prey, please get real girl!!
@@anitabellamysrensen5442 It is in the nature of some animals to help other animals that are being preyed upon. Humans are one kind of animal. Other birds do come to the defense of birds being attacked by sparrowhawks. Hippos have been known to save deer from crocodile attacks. Monkeys have been known to save other animals from cheetah attacks. So, if she wants to help then that's in her nature to do so, and we're apart of nature. It wouldn't work anyway, the sparrowhawk would fly off with the prey.
@@JokerScribejust drifting by and noting that our propensity to help other animals must be tempered- there's far fewer hawks than blackbirds, and hawks generally don't have the energy reserves to lose kills unnecessarily You helping the prey can lead to the hawk's death. Do you just say "eff the hawk?"
Then you let the starlings cause ptkperty damage to your home and see what happens😊
