That wasn't mold. It was a round sponge impregnated with liquid and pressing gently and very quickly throughout the car. At least you make yourself known and leave it very clean. Congratulations 😂
Thanks for the info
Gotta be like kids in a candy store there!
Definitely our kind of fun. We will be going back and saving a few parts we found .
Was there any camaro/firebird 3rd gens there?
None that we could find .
Love the Malibu wagon!
I couldn't help myself, I laughed when you fell down ! 😂
I fall a lot ! Glad I can make you laugh !
This was a challenging hike , but rewarding and fun.
That isn’t Steve or Ryan’s Skyline. Wish you would’ve got the guys info. Sure we will see him again.
Nice car, didn’t see the owner.
Cast iron drum , side loaded, onto steel? 🤔🤕
It’s the two circular rings that are taking the load. The previous 2 1/2” single Chinese steel, was rated for 17,000 lbs. If it fails, we will let you ‘ Told you so ‘.
That beam looks a lot stronger and safer. I don't think the upstairs will come falling down now !
We think it’s way better.
@@ptlfabrication569 ❤️
Yeah cool cars for sure! Thanks guys for sharing!👍🏽
Our pleasure!
Hey guy’s new to the channel! 2 questions, what does PTL stand for? And are you guys from Latrobe? Cool video 😎
We’ve left PTL a little ambiguous . Mike made videos in his teens, he and his friends did stunts on bikes and skate boards, they named it Pushing the limits. My church going friends refer to it as Praise the lord fabrication, I’m fine with both . We are around Mount pleasant, Pa., not far from Latrobe. Thank You for subscribing to our channel !
@@ptlfabrication569 That’s cool! I work in Mt. Pleasant! I’m subscribing now!
Thank You ! Mike and I both work over by the former Sony plant . Our shop is on the backside of Bullskin Fairgrounds . I like your channel name .
65 Buick's (Special/Skylark/LeSabre) with automatic did NOT have a 2-speed Powerglide. They had Buick's ST300, which was a decent 2-speed tranny used in Pontiac Tempest/LeMans/GTOs, and Olds Cutlass and others through 1969. The Powerglide was a Chevy only tranny.
Thank You, you are correct . We are using Powerglide as a generic term. Bell housing and other differences . We are not experts , hopefully we will get better !
These cars aren’t worth half of what they are asking 🤬👎🏻
That is the majority consensus . We like checking out the inventory , but , couldn’t afford anything cool.
I am looking for a beetle frame preferably 69 to 72 not worried about floor pans
My nephew is swapping out a 1969 with a rust free from the desert . We live in the southwest corner of Pennsylvania .
Good 👍 luck with those prices 😮😂.
The prices being high, seems like a popular theme. Hopefully the car lot owner drops the prices Down .
Almost $47,000 for a 71 Cutlass is way overpriced. Maybe for a 442,the price would be appropiate.
I agree. A W30 , 455 4-4-2, Yes !
Project for sure
Everybody in the comments just complaining about the prices on the cars yeah they're high, that's because the factories that built them have been torn down and are gone. The parts are made of are far superior to that of the new cars they're selling to you. As a mechanic who worked on new cars and old cars I can tell you thin wires thin glass thin metal aluminum where it should be copper or brass pipes on the back firewall that are made of plastic that should be made of metal that can burst and you lose your engine while cruising down the road new cars are flimsy crap and yet people are paying those prices what's wrong with the prices of these for it they hadn't perfected making everything ultra thin and Ultra cheap. Considering you can't get them anymore and how strong they are and how they have survived over 50 or 60 years the true quality shows. You take care of it like it can't be replaced and it'll stay nice.
Absolutely ! I couldn’t imagine anything made today being restored or cared for 20 years from now !
$42000 for that 87 Chevy pickup🤣🤣🤣I wouldn't pay more that $2500 for it.
You must be a Ford or Dodge person ! 🤣🤣 $2500 in todays market doesn’t get you much. I’d say a realistic out the door price around $17000 is more palatable .
@@ptlfabrication569 That truck is a dinosaur. I wouldn't take it for free.
I’d take a Prius, if it’s free. I might disagree with you , But , I do like your motorcycle .
@@ptlfabrication569 Its for sale $7500
They can easily stay in business selling 2 or 3 cars a month at those prices!
I believe you are correct !
Prices are ridicules!
They certainly are.
Prices are fishing prices. It's funny that some of those cars were unlocked Strange!
It's. Badges we don't need no stinkin badges
Yes It Is !
I like that '57 Mercury Monterey. Seems like a low enough price, but it all depends on the condition of the engine and transmission, and if there's power brakes and power steering. In general, classic cars are too high priced.
That’s one of Mike’s favorite cars too.
Chrysler Concord😂😂😂not even scrap yards have them, they were awful 😂😂😂
Are you saying, even with low miles, you’re probably breaking down. You are right about scrap yards, not seen too many in years.
Your car,s will sell for half your asking price😊😊😊😊😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
These are not Our Cars. We were just looking. I like Your prices, though.
There old! Not new!
Crazy prices.
Copy that , I like some of the vehicles, Not the prices.
Nice cars, too much money though
Absolutely!
lol, they all are very clean original cars with "little" value, or demand...
True, although the price of an Ls6 Chevelle , Hemi and rare muscle cars have made base model muscle cars somewhat more collectible.
Your cars are overpriced, apparently you don't want to sell them overpriced cars!!!!!!!!!! You all fell down and bumped your heads!!!!!
Not My cars. We like and work on classic cars. Just stopped on a sunny day, and made of video of us shopping at cars.
Little pricey considering the times
Yes, that is unfortunate .
How high were you when you made up those prices? They are unrealistic, just because it's old doesn't mean it worth a fortune.
We are shopping only. I will say we hope the prices are negotiable , and if the price starts low, you don’t go up from there. Thanks for watching.
@@ptlfabrication569 $10k to $20k over the value of the auto is more than negotiation room, it's greed. Maybe you should check out your competitions prices.
Not sure if there is some confusion? The vehicles do not belong to us. We were only looking at some cool classic autos while out and about on a beautiful weekend.
Prices are ridiculous.
My brother was visiting Latrobe/ Derry a month ago and sent a pic of a red Gremlin X. Now I know where he saw it!
If you are going show the cars give the price
Man, there's some style in that parking lot!
I sure miss the cars with style.
The ag body with a manual is a first for me to see! I only ever see autos.
They were available but only with the 260CI V8.
Thank You for the info!

If the tires are all aired and there are trash cans in the back, it might be their dump truck. The grass isn’t over grown under the truck. I’d keep it looking like it is and drive it like I stole it.
I like the patina left alone idea .👍
@@ptlfabrication569 Did you know there was a product called flood , I got it at Ace Hardware. It’s actually manufactured for brightening up black wrought iron furniture. It lasts about a year try putting that on a Pantina car it looks awesome and it only cost about $15 to do the entire car
