The way Sterling said "Squeak squeak" were several nods to Ben and Me (1953) and The Aristocats (1970), and he did voice a couple of mice. 12:58 The way he squirted water from his mouth and his ears reminded me of when his character Pooh Bear squirted bees out of his own mouth and left ear while trying to get some honey. 13:17 And the way he wore the inflatable muscle body reminded me of the SpongeBob episode "MuscleBob BuffPants"! Grammy-winning Holloway performed in hundreds of stage, movie and TV productions beginning in silent movies. His voice made him a popular choice for comedic roles and voice work during his seven-decade career. He passed away in 1992 at the age of 87. Neill would begin her five-season stint as "Lois Lane" on TV's "Adventures of Superman" six years after this short, replacing Phyllis Coates from the first season. She was in dozens of productions prior to this and retired after the "Superman" series, only to return to occasional acting work decades later right up until her death in 2016 and the age of 95. Dearing was in many hundreds of productions in his 40-year acting career, beginning in the silent era. His last credited role was on TV in the episode "Mr. Garrity and the Graves" of "The Twilight Zone" in 1964. He passed away ten years later at the age of 81.

I love watching Sterling Holloway! He was a great and delightful actor
