Plastic pollution in the ocean
Plastic pollution is poisoning our oceans, and it is not just a threat for the environment but for the entire ecosystem, including humans.

    Couple of questions. One, is it common in Europe for communities to use cement trucks to collect garbage as shown in the video? Two, is it common to refer to 10% as "most"?

    Today, March 18, 2019, a dead whale washed ashore in the Philippines with 40 kilos (90 pounds) of plastic in its stomach. So who is responsible for this? Who is throwing all this plastic waste into our oceans and killing our wildlife? Answer: The people who are forcing us to recycle plastics. These losers claim they can recycle the plastics but end up throwing this plastic waste into our oceans. The imbecility here is breathtaking.

    I don't get it. If five Asian countries are the major offenders, then why are you blaming the rest of us? How come it is my problem all of a sudden?

      4chiron do you use plastic?

    • @4chiron
      @4chiron 5 лет назад

      @@Luna-jd1hf, you are asking an invalid meaningless question. If five Asian countries are the major offenders, then why are you blaming the rest of us? And most important, why are you recycling plastic if you cannot recycle this plastic? The problem it is you and your ilk.

    • @4chiron
      @4chiron 5 лет назад

      @@Luna-jd1hf I don't need plastic and I can use glass so stop blaming random people for a problem you created. If there is no demand for this recycled plastic then why are you forcing people to recycle? You are the one who is creating this problem and contaminating our oceans!

    • @4chiron
      @4chiron 5 лет назад

      @@Luna-jd1hf The point with replacing plastic bottles with glass is that plastic in general can be minimized. The main question however remains: Why are you forcing us to Recycle if you cannot handle all this recycled plastic? You are the one responsible for contaminating the oceans with plastic. Have a nice day.

    Plastic is VERY useful yet HARMFUL cuz whenever fish eat plastic we also EAT it cuz when we eat fish or other seafoods They eat microbeads/small plastics just like this vid says but i’ll have to say “be part of the SOLUTION not the POLLUTION”

    It gives us more to think about and wonder what we can do to harvest the waste instead of using the ocean as a disposal unit.

    WE ARE LOOKING FOR INVESTORS to solve the Problem of Plastic in OCEAN! WE HAVE A SOLUTION! To your attention, we offer video on demonstrating of our invention - a device for processing all types of plastic into commercial products. At the beginning of the installation we use a shredder developed by us, which can grind any plastic even rubber and rubber car tires along with a metal cord. The shredder can grind even metal re-bars with a diameter up to 35 mm if any will be occasionally. After the shredder a magnetic separator is to be placed. Injecting a special solvent, we obtain at the nozzle exit a foamed material up to 600% with a small (6 bar) pressure, smoothly fill the mold. The formed foam has a low thermal conductivity, which allows to increase the filling time before the crystallization begins. In the mixing zone of the extruder, the solvent is fed by a high-pressure pump, greatly increasing the diffusion, solubility, cohesion of various polymers. This makes it possible to use not sorted, not washed, different in composition plastic waste. Insoluble dirt is mixed, rubbed and used as a filler up to 25%, moisture is squeezed out in the loading zone in a special tray. The processing of Tetra-pack waste with foil and paper can be also in garbage up to 35% with a total load volume. Recycling waste, we get very strong and light products with special properties and design. In this example, you see products of cylindrical shape - billets, which can immediately be used for example as a cork for closing bottles of wine. This is extrusion foam plastic mass. The productivity of the installation is more than 300 kg of recycled plastic per hour. 1000 machineries can recycle 26,3M tons of plastic waste per year. Due 10 years we can delete the big plastic island in the World Ocean. Plastic has a high elasticity, does not crumble, does not break. It is inert to the external environment, it is not wetted by water, does not absorb water, has no smell, does not absorb extraneous smells. It is not prone to shrinkage, swelling, does not lose its technical properties under long-term storage and exposure to ultraviolet rays. There are no conditions for reproduction of microorganisms and mold. 1-3 USD per 1 kg is the price for plastic as commodity. 2 630 000x2$ (average) =5 256 000 USD yield per year of ONE machinery. We are invite all interested investors to solve the problem of plastic in oceans and seas and make a profit at the same time in the same project. ruclips.net/video/JjR_SvQpggM/видео.html After second use of recycling plastic we will produce the bitumen/asphalt for roads as third use forever. ruclips.net/video/EEJY9gGn4ho/видео.html

    Excellent facts. Microbeads from plastic already in the oceans is a big concern. The UK has banned all microbeads from products. Other nations could also do this...

    Plastic industry managers have been aware already in the fifties where this was going to, but propaganda helped them. Also the bank managers helped them by financing them. What's odd is that they knew they were poisoning their own children, in the long term, not to mention ours. It's time to close all of the plastic factories as they are polluting the water, the landfills and whole of the food chain.
