The name “Viewpoint” may have intended/unintended symbolism behind it, because his “Kronos” message in the wall was seen by Mr. Incredible when he stood where he stood, getting the required “Viewpoint.”

Gazerbeam is an insult from Cyclops, and him fighting an Omnidroid makes the Omnidroid practically a Sentinel as an inspiration.

It's moments like this that set The Incredibles apart from its sequel. Both have their own interesting worlds, enriched by the DVD's bonus features. But while in the original picture, it's understandable why the deleted scenes were cut (mostly because the vast majority of them were detrimental to the film's running time or were part of the context of another version of that script), the sequel is the complete opposite; the deleted scenes are literally more interesting than anything that ended up in the final version.

It's criminal that they deleted this scene from the film.

For those not in the know, there are many more deleted scenes like this where it was not cut 'cause of pacing, but that the release date of Incredibles 2 being pushed much earlier.

honestly if incredbles 2 went for a more serious story rather than the more happier one wehave, this scene would fit i can see why it got scrapped, REAL tonal shift from the incredibles 2 we got

I know this ignores the bonus features of the superhero files. But it always felt weird to me that in them, they said Gazer beam was part of his own group and not part of Mr Incredible and Frozone's circle. This flashback sequence makes much more sense with the context of the first film, where Bob and Lucious talked about him as if he was a close friend and not someone they occasionally teamed up with.

Wish that they included this. It's realistic, relatable, and addresses to how persons deal with the loss of a close friend. And even though the man is a superhero, he was still human like all of us. Like Bob said, he wanted to be useful, just like most of us. Plus, the speech is inspirational. Why is it that the best ideas they come up in movies end up not being used?

If Syndrome was broken, he would've gone after Mr. Incredible only. But since he went after everyone, he's evil.

I really hope they reuse This Seen and put it into Incredibles, three I mean, obviously, they would have to finish it and change Few things towards the end for continuity, but Nevertheless I would really like to see This scene finished, and in Incredibles three

This should've been the opening scene, and that should have set up the movie for a more melancholic yet hopeful story about slowly reintegrating heroes back into society in some way shape or form. Instead, we have a story that is watered down with the only redeeming scenes being the train sequence and the raccoon fight. This could've been a movie series that could have been set up as a defining moment of cinema that would be timeless in its execution, if only done right. If only...

This is what happens when you suddenly take away a year of a film's production time. Gems like this end up on the cutting room floor.

I kinda wish they kept this scene because not only is it touching but it shows that Mr. Incredible, Elasticgirl, and Frozone aren’t the only classic superheroes left ( as shown here 1:46 ) there are a few other superheroes that thankfully didn’t get found by Syndrome. These other heroes were probably a little less iconic than the other ones who unfortunately lost their lives

So now it's a trilogy

When we see the name “Tradewind,” we see the image of Universal Man. What’s up with that? Did the name “Universal Man” get copyrighted by someone else in between movies, and they somehow came up with an irrelevant name like “Tradewind,” or was that supposed to be a different Super, making the Universal Man image a mistake?

Gazerbeam really needs to be elevated more in the universe. Like it be so awesome if they made a Glory Days series giving a prominent role to Gazerbeam(among other heroes) and also leading up to the 1st movie when he goes to the Island
