This channel is dedicated to filmmaking and videography.
It showcases my more important work/ commissions and projects that I have done.
Here you'll find everything from a cinematic look at London, to Wedding videos and trailers that I have produced.
All the sound, lighting, editing, filming and general production is solely by myself, because as it currently stands I am a one man operation.
Mostly using the Sony a7s camera, and sometimes Canon.

2016 you have been a fun one. This year has taken us from Lands End to Los Angeles, from Cornwall to California, from Lostwithiel to - okay you get it. A few clips of going from London, over Greenland, to Canada then finding some Elephant Seals on the coast of California. It's no where near as good as it sounds, the clips are too long and it's boring, but it's for me to look back on. It was the only video I did for the whole trip after forgetting a tiny little tripod plate back home, I decided to stick to stills for the trip after that.

Blood Moon at Burrator, England on the morning of 28th September 2015. All of this was filmed, no long exposure photo timelapses just sped up recording in parts.

A dull, slighty moist day walking in Cornwall. All I had was a monopod and a camera, no stabilized lenses etc.
Sony a7s S-Log2 High Contrast Situation Slow Motion

Footage under some bridges while it was bright sunlight. What did I learn? That slog and crop mode don't go together well, especially in low light. The crop mode raises the noise floor level already, and obviously combined with S-log2 makes an even more noisy image, combined with less quality and slight moire and aliasing compared to the 25/50p record modes.

I debated for weeks if I should show this video at his wake. I decided to do it in the end, and i'm glad I did. If this video makes at least one person happy, remind them of times with him, or taught you something you didn't know about him, then it was worth doing. It took me about two months to make, and actually started recording this and compiling footage while he was still alive. This shows...

This was a first proper test of the camera, testing very low light sometimes, while seeing how the footage looks on a computer. There is no story line, just a collection of shots. Info: Filmed in London with the Canon 24-105L at f4 with the Sony a7s. No tripod or monopod used. Custom picture profile - based off Cine2. One or two shots with a custom S-Log picture profile.
