I feel like Taipei during the day and during the night is some sorte of schizophrenia... haha by night the car noise, flashings of signs, hyper contrasts of lights and dark alleys, all make it more violent to the senses. Daytime is the kind personality side.

Your film made me cry. I spent two months in Taipei this summer with my mom and grandma in my grandma's little 3rd story apartment. It was such a healing time for me, particularly healing from the violence and oppression that comes from living under the constant shadows of imperialism, colonialism, and capitalism in the US. Seeing Taipei captured on your film somehow brings a sense of slowness and calm to an often busy and fast-paced city life.
