You might miss the small town of San Felipe if you've ever driven from Houston to San Antonio. I only happen to find it because of my visit to Stephen F. Austin State Park. It was a relaxing, sunny, Sunday as I drove back east. Was a little surprised to hit traffic on I-10 but maybe because people were returning back from their weekend trip around the same time.

Thanks for taking me along on this beautiful/really scary hike. I felt kinda guilty letting you guys do all the hard work. I thought I was bad azz doing the whole Narrows hike, but this hike made the Narrows seem like a walk in the park. Looking forward to the descent

nice work and maybe by December's race they will sort it all out.
Pro tip would be, inhale nasally, & expel, orally - with intent - double puffs & long as you can. at start of event. What I'm hearing here is IMO less-efficient breathing - & parches one's throat badly - let's add dust to the equation, anyway. these ideas come from working on stage and recording studio
I appreciate the tip. my breathing is bad due to asthma but maybe this tip can also help calm it.
Pleeese! this is not a dangerous hike. For gosh sakes, they installed chains to hold onto. Years ago, my family icluding my 9 year old son hiked up angels landing by hiimself wit us next to him. there are plenty of hikers including novices who easily hike up Angles Landing. Nothing about this hike is technical in the least.

My audio kept getting muffled from time to time but I'm glad I captured this experience in a POV fashion. Beautiful scenery. Felt like a kid again. To the people who've hiked this route, how hard was it on a scale from 1-5?

Do you prefer morning, lunchtime or evening runs?
Easy 10k. Very flat. The least scenic of all the races I've done but I enjoyed the time I had running with friends.
