This is my 2012 2SS Camaro on the Mustang Dyno with Kooks Long Tube Headers and Catless Borla ATAK exhaust. The only other thing it has is a K&N Cold air Intake. This was the very first run (I didn't record the other runs). This run was already at 428hp with a quick generic tune thrown in. He ended up getting a clean tune with 432hp and 428 torque that day (right at about 500hp to the crank) It...

Burning off the HORRIBLE Goodyear Eagle F1 tires! Replaced with Pirelli P Zero which are WAY better! Had to not drive it for a week while waiting for the new tires to come in, hence the black exhaust (carbon) at the beginning.

This video was taken shortly after having Kooks Long tube Headers, and Borla ATAK Catback Exhaust. the mic on my cellphone obviously couldn't handle the decibels, but I can tell you it sounds absolutely amazing! Why did you have to attach the black to the white wire, instead of black to black and white to white?

I bought one and someone side swiped me I sent it to the shop and they hooked it back up but it’s not turning on any idea what I should check for?
Wanted to thank this youtuber for discovering the reversed polarity, I probably would have returned the item as faulty without that info. Definitely have to reverse the two wires on the bowtie side. Other than that, wiring to the side marker means the bowtie doesn't glow unless the headlights are on. Not a huge deal, but I may try to wire this to something like the led's on the headlight in the future. Additionally, watching some other videos on the matter, I chose to try to do the project without removing the front plate in the engine bay. It was a little slow to use a wire hanger and string to pull the harness though, but beats scratching the front of the car fighting the plate. This video doesn't really show that activity very well but others it looked like a total pain. Also, I left the tire on and only took 4 screws out to peel back a small portion of the fender well liner...wasn't hard at all! Generally speaking a big add to the car, looks amazing in the dark. Oh yeah, also I just broke the tabs on the original bowtie like another video suggested. Didn't compromise the mounting plate behind it.

Hi quick question my dad has a 2017 Malibu and we were thinking of installing one of these. Do you happen to know if the camero and Malibu share the same size emblem? Or is one made larger then the other

That sound is the from the Camaro, not the glowtie. That's the normal sound.
I think that’s the fuel pump. My car makes the same noise.
Will that work on a 2019 Camaro?
So this just taps into the side markers for power? I’ve been debating on buying one I found online but no wiring harness so I would have to make one. Plus now clip for the bow tie so I gotta figure that out or try to find the a clip that fits.
Yup, side marker. If it's a really good deal, it may be worth it I suppose, otherwise I would just put the money out and buy the full thing.

My 2017 SS came with a glowtie. I haven't seen many others on the road.
It didn't light up because you installed it incorrectly. The GM installation states DO NOT connect directly in line with the DRL. It also says if you connect it the way you did it will not illuminate. There is a box in front of the DRL with a similar connector on the left side of the box. Take that out and put the harness in line with that connector and it works. ecom-dam.ext.gm.com/parts/documents/ISheets_23461744.pdf
It works perfectly, and always has since I installed it as the video shows. The Chevrolet dealership in Salem Oregon are the ones who couldn't install it, they said it was "broken". I took it home and installed it, then DEMANDED my $170 back that they charged me to NOT install it. The dealership sent me a check for $170. I'm not sure what you're talking about, since my install was EASY, and works perfectly still..🤷♂️
Why were the wires wired wrong from the factory. I would send it back for a new one that was correct.
From what I understand, that's how they all come, that's how I found out about it.
