We had to rescue some guys who brought their skiff way out and to fish a platform. They got swamped and climbed the platform. The skiff would up wedged in the risers. We recovered the skiff for them (we're divers).

I’ve just been casting from the oyster beds and out in the marsh.

Not sure how I slept on this vid/podcast. The YT algorithm didn't push this in front of my face until I started searching for you. I was like "Damn, has Lex stopped posting vids?" ( I know you just had a new addition to your family. Congrats!) Great topic! I've had a lot of reservations and regret from posting vids. Did I just blow that spot? Did I share too much? Am I just doing this to say "Look at me!"? I don't fish for meat, just CPR and a record of how I did that trip. I'm probably my own biggest fan! I will go back and watch my vids to relive that day and hype myself up for my next trip. Lately, I've struggled with my "WHY?". But, I really understand what what Eric said about how fishing is now about catching the footage, not just the fish. I really like your message about it enjoying the outdoors while preaching conservation and trying to protect this awesome resource.

Serious question but do you allow anyone to go with you on any trips? I'm still learning about fishing for red drum and sheepshead and I'm trying to learn about Wrightsville Beach a little better. I've only been there once and fell in love with the place and just looking for any help possible.
