"This is the good side of hotel work. In a hotel a huge and complicated machine is kept running by an inadequate staff, because every man has a well-defined job and does it scrupulously. But there is a weak point, and it is this--that the job the staff are doing is not necessarily what the customer pays for. The customer pays, as he sees it, for good service; the employee is paid, as he sees it, for the BOULOT--meaning, as a rule, an imitation of good service. The result is that, though hotels are miracles of punctuality, they are worse than the worst private houses in the things that matter." - George Orwell

There is no evidence that Bernie Sanders was ever against the common people. He run as a third-party to become Major of Burlington, running on a populist campaign. He held the first pride parade there, with a transgender speaker. He was pro-LGBT in the 1980s, before anyone was. He was pro-civil rights in the 1960s, and was arrested for protesting the housing discrimination against blacks in Chicago, while Clinton was endorsing racist Senators. He does not take PAC money, he does not take corporate money, he is one of the poorest Senators in the United States. How is he taking my money and where is he giving it away to or to whom?

Like so many other good things that have been eliminated from our Society, Workplace and schools, is that EMPLOYEE SUGGESTIONS use to be PRACTICED at a Company I use to work for .... GE! We were REWARDED for our suggestions, if not promoted if the savings were outstanding! I worked for other companies that ENCOURAGED their Employees to submit their IDEAS for better policies, etc. I am 70 years old and have seen much better days in America! Yes, ALL those things were possible in my DAY!

Gabriel Valenzuela, maybe others began a little too early. If fewer people were so willing to sell themselves out to corporations, oligarchs would represent less of a threat to the well-being of common folk. Some people work sixty hour weeks with no pension, so when republicans manage to dismantle the social safety net, those people will just be send down the river, when they get worn out.

If you define "a job" as something sufficient to pay your bills then yeah, I guess you could say he has "no job." He has worked three jobs before getting elected before. It's not his fault that he put politics (something that he's passionate about) above himself.
