    • @abhasa.rehab.wellness
      @abhasa.rehab.wellness День назад

      OCD is indeed a condition rooted in persistent thoughts and compulsions, and recovery is absolutely possible with the right approach. It is not a life sentence, but it does require proper treatment, like therapy (CBT or ERP), and sometimes medication. While everyone’s journey is unique, many have successfully managed or even overcome OCD. If you or someone you know is struggling, reaching out to a trusted professional can help ensure a path to recovery.

    Hey I’ve got an audition age of myself screaming over and over again! I keep repeating that thought that loud voice to check if it still there if it still bothers me or how it makes me feel! I’ve been free of this thought for many years but now im on relapse! Do I have to say no to the compulsion? I’ve got meta ocd as well thinking that I fear that I’ll be this way all of my life , that is m differ from the others or that I can enjoy anything

    • @abhasa.rehab.wellness
      @abhasa.rehab.wellness 5 дней назад

      Relapse is tough, but it doesn’t erase your progress. Try saying no to compulsions like testing the thought, as it fuels the OCD cycle. Acknowledge the thought without engaging and focus on meaningful activities. Seeking professional help can guide you through this. Recovery is possible-stay hopeful!

      @@abhasa.rehab.wellnessI’m proud of myself because I started psychotherapy! I think that repeating a screaming voice in my head is related to my traumas as a child as I can totally relate! I can bring my own furious moments of myself actually screaming at real events because of my father! What I would like to ask is whenever the image doesn’t find me out of the blue but when I seek it in my mind to test it! Do I have to say no because it’s a compulsion!!? Do I have to resist to the urge of making it?and keep myself in activities? Isn’t it thought suppression?

    • @abhasa.rehab.wellness

      These signs could indicate underlying stress or emotional burdens. Chronic back pain, detachment, and workaholism might be coping mechanisms. It's best to consult a doctor and mental health professional to explore the root cause and get proper guidance.

    मन में समस्या शुरु होती है,जिसका प्रभाव मस्तिष्क पर पड़ता है,फिर मन-मस्तिष्क उसी pattern में हमसे क्रिया-कार्य करवाता रहता है,जिस पर हमारा कोई नियँत्रण नहीं होता।हम बस अपने को उस समस्या में फंसा हुआ,उसका कष्ट भोगता हुआ पाते हैं,पर हम कुछ कर नहीं सकते,कोई समाधान नहीं दिखता।कोई मन से ही मन का समाधान करने की कोशिश में लगता है,जिससे उसे कुछ प्राप्त नहीं हो सकता।और कोई मनोचिकित्सक से दवाइयाँ लेने लगता है। दवाई तो मस्तिष्क पर ही कुछ काम कर सकती है,मन पर नहीं।मस्तिष्क के लक्षणों को कुछ शाँत करके समस्या कुछ ठीक हुई सी लगती है।पर असल में समस्या दब जाती है,ठीक नहीं होती। भीतर किसको यह समस्या हो रही है,कौन अनुभव कर रहा है,उससे प्रति होश भीतर हो। उसको जानने में लगो,जिसको उस समस्या का कष्ट अनुभव हो रहा है। जैसे कि भीतर कोई भी किसी तरह का कोई बुरा विचार उठा,तो उसी विचार के उठने पर यह देखो कि किसके लिए यह विचार उठा? जो कुछ भी भीतर होता है,चाहे वह अच्छा है या बुरा,वह किसे अनुभव होता है,किसमें अनुभव होता है? जो कोई इस खोज को कर पाता है ध्यान से,सच में,वह यह भी देख,जान पाता है कि जो भी अनुभव हो रहे होते हैं,वे क्या हैं? फिर अनुभव उसे प्रभावित(सुखी-दुखी) नहीं कर सकते,चाहे कैसा भी,कितना भी बुरा,गंदा,कष्टकारक मन का अनुभव क्यों न हो। क्योंकि फिर भीतर वह(जिसके द्वारा मन सब कुछ अनुभव कर पाता है),यह जानता है कि जो कुछ भी हो रहा है,वह सच नहीं है।

      OCD and Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) are different conditions. OCD involves intrusive thoughts and repetitive behaviors driven by anxiety, while NPD is marked by an inflated self-image and lack of empathy. Though both may involve perfectionism, their causes and treatments differ. Professional help is key to managing either.

I may not be able to find it or remember the title, but I can describe his scenario. If I describe his and mine, could you inform me if it's OCD? His intrusive thought reminds me of myself. It’s good to hear that a change in environment helped you manage your OCD symptoms, and staying connected to places or routines that bring peace, like visiting a temple, can indeed be very supportive. For some people, environment shifts and stress reduction techniques play a significant role, while others may benefit from additional strategies or support.

    • @abhasa.rehab.wellness
      @abhasa.rehab.wellness 18 дней назад

      Comparison can be tough, especially when it sneaks in without us noticing. One helpful approach is to focus on your own growth and set personal goals that are meaningful to you. Practicing gratitude and reminding yourself of what makes you unique can also shift the focus back to your own journey. It’s about celebrating small wins along the way rather than measuring yourself against others.

      For a career that aligns with managing OCD and psychosis, consider roles with structure and lower stress, like digital marketing, graphic design, data entry, or technical support. Given your background in engineering, remote support or documentation roles could also be a good fit. A vocational therapist could help tailor options based on your interests and health needs.
