Metros/subways generally are considered to be a potentially a safety threat, as well as they can shelter the people during the air raids not only in Armenia but also in other countries as well. And they are considered to be part of the country’s major infrastructure. That’s why they don’t allow filming in the subways. Particularly so in Armenia, considering the fact, that the country is surrounded by hostile neighbors.

The typical Armenian men’s insignia is the cigarette pack with cigarette lighter holding in their hands, as if that’s their suckling babe’s nursing pacifier. Not to mention the localized polo shirt that once before was in style during mid 70s. The setback tradition carries on and on. That’s the beauty about our setback culture. The sun never sets on our bad habits. As the practice develops into habit, habit develops into character, subsequently the character develops into genetics.

Thank you for visiting ! ❤ As a Namurois that's also an history nerd, I have to say that altough that story of fries origins in Namur is a beautiful one, it's most certainly exagerrated, the fish shaped potato fried in fish fat is a long strech from what we call fries today and the author of the book that made that theory popular was rather motivated by nationalism against frenchies that actually seeking the truth. We can actually trace back the first coming of "French fries" in Belgium from Paris by a German immigrant in the early 1800s. Wich country make it best is still up to debate but I think there's less controversy about that ! 😀
