This was such an interesting concept for a video game back in the 80's. 🙂 You can recognize the reused assets from Atari's "Gauntlet" games as well. Strange that "Toobin'" didn't end up finding a really insane fanbase, but I suppose there's only so much to throwing cans and trying to control or guide the totally tubular tube, dudes. 💪😎✌️

Yes. If you pick up the Six Pack you have infinite cans...until you die. Then you have to grab another. They are at predictable locations on each river.
They had this arcade machine at my dentist when I was a little kid. God I loved this game so much.

the AI seems to be hesitant to approach you initially, has the game code been modified?? asking for a jealous friend who has never managed to complete this, i believe this as legit btw
looks legit to me. revision 8.0 is a bit easier one player, as it lets the powerups last just a BIT longer to make up for you being alone. still requires a wee bit of luck, especially with scarface.
@@zaphod77 Some of the dodges are suspicious as hell. I don't believe this is real for a second.
@@foarfield It's legit. You are allowed a certain amount of contact time with enemies before you die. you can't see it, but it slowly recharges. This is also why people say to fire backwards when you try running through enemies, and that they can't hurt you if you don't see them. It's a lie, but your shots will kill them faster that way, because they spawn far enough back to actually come out of the gun. This means less contact time, and a chance of living. Also dying a lot will give you pity contact time. Me and another person were able to beat the game on earlier revisions with 3 total quarters, so i can believe this is legit.

I played this couple weeks ago in Leeds. It’s a fun little game and had it for Xbox on midway classics collections but the actual arcade cabinet with the game running is much better.
