My weekly show comments : you all "claim" to be entertainers "for the fans",and unanimously the fans want pulloffs,but clearly the pullers don't,I know it's your expense too,so based on that QUIT calling yourselves entertainers for our benefit Once again a puller,van,by his own words,proves handicaps don't and won't ever work,nuff said. He does make a huge point in why pulling hasn't grown in the last few decades,and I completely agree,as all 3 of you did too.fans and the general potential fan base can only relate to the diesel truck classes.theres very very few that can relate to a component chassis tractor,there's only been 2 varieties on tractors built with the component likeness,and that was in the 1940s using left over ww2 parts.you mini guys shot yourselves in the foot getting away from 1550 and 1800,pound classes,yes they were all big blocks too,variety was abundant, unlike today.in the 80s and 90s,pulling heyday,there was 40 times the vehicles,more than enough to have gn,rn,and state hooks all on the same night and lots within the states of oh,in,ill,mi,wis,minn,mo,with multiple events in each state within a 100 mile radius of each other..you pullers and along with DADDY DAVE have been successful in killing the SPORT you so claim to love.what put butts in the seats you ask,Kevin Lynn's 'notorious',Brian shraneks 'youngblood',carlton copes 'warpath',hoods and blocks that match.instead of allowing recast blocks,the cube limits should have been lowered to 540 to allow all manufactures to be competitive,like van said,people can relate to that.the v8 classes shoulda been stopped at 8-71 blowers and factory bore centerlines,just imagine if denny horst know Olds was still competitive and chevy based motors,there would be tons of variety.hemis aren't boring at all,but when every mini,2wd,4wd,and mod are a hemi,they become boring,he'll at bg there's over 300 giant hemis entered..that's how you put butts in the seats !!!!.and no tyler won't read this cause it's right !!!!..stay tuned for show 30s review next week
