    I began listening to his music in the 80's and I still enjoy it, but that is one of the smartest minute and twenty five seconds I've ever heard. I wish someone had told me that when I was 14, at the age when little things can make a big difference. Losing him so early was a big loss for the entire culture.

    Intelligent people are deemed enemies of the state in America. Look at Trump's appointments. He's on a revenge mission and he'll end up locking up those he sees as a threat... like putin and kim. Fascist theocracy is what you idiots voted for. More households in America have seen guns than books.

      Don't even think for a moment that Shitmerica and it's corporate owners are on the same level as Putin or Kim. That's laughably delusional on your part, but no. Your owners are little more than third rate war profiteers and conmen now.

    What Carlin never realized, is he can form his own opinion BECAUSE he is an American.

      Not exactly. Anyone can form their own opinion it’s just some governments kill you for it. Even in this country, it’s the illusion of being free. Abortion and marijuana just failed to pass in Florida even though both amendments polled well over 50% . The people spoke and the government said “yeah fuck you my dicks bigger” as George would say lol.

    It's worse than the 1950's now. Zappa was a genius but never had a kind word for other guitarists. 😢

    Also if ya dig and enjoyed this by Frank Zappa 😀 you may also enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? And if yes why ? To find out more please read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on RUclips. 😀

    nah you got to play dumb socially, people won't like you and everybody wants to be liked/loved (I think). Either be the jester, find people like you(they are rare) or stay alone.

    I don't like the suggestion that if I sit in front of the TV, drink beer, and watch hockey, that I'm dumb. Go Wings!

  • @SpaceCattttt
    @SpaceCattttt Год назад

    I would never call myself intelligent, but others have certainly said I was. However, I've never tried to play dumber than I am, just to maintain friendships. And consequently, I've never been popular or had a lot of friends. So the question is: would I be happier if I pretended to be dumb enough to watch TV and drink beer all day? I'd still be alone, but I'd be free from the pressures of having to perform...

    One shouldn't be ashamed of being unintelligent _if_ they're doing what they reasonably can to work past that limitation, but ignorance and stupidity have myriad consequences and should not merely be accepted, especially when the stupid have the same voting power as the intelligent.

    To recognize other "smart" people and distance yourself from hokey, so to speak, intelligence is needed indeed. But to accept "dumb" people enjoing hokey and even participate in such beer drinking activity takes other kind of muscle, which is capable to.., "Freak Out!". Nice combo, Mr. Zappa
