The Promaster 28-105mm and the 70-300mm are rebranded Tamron lenses from the film camera era. These lenses are incredibly sharp with good color rendition. I only buy used photo gear, and these lenses are a real bargain.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago and haven't used it much. The only two I'd owned prior to this one were the Tesoro Tejon (great machine) and a Tesoro Cibola, which was pretty good. This was my first machine with a digital read out and I've just not been a huge fan of it. It seems to be all over the place when I'm using it. The readouts never seem to be solid. How do you like yours?

I have been all over Memorial Park, going out tomorrow back to the bridge abutment hoping to see the concrete support in the water and hoping locate the bridge abutment on the south side of Buffalo Bayou if it is still there. For a bridge that was almost 200' long I can not find any photos of it anywere. I have read that it was wood and have read it was concrete, is there any info on what it was made of and weather it was dismantled or did it just collapse from age and lack of upkeep?
