play the riff without moving your hand from the D chord, use your pinky on the F note on the G string. A lot less movement and good training for the pinky!

@@billdedrick1914 thank you!! Yeah, I was after a specific bluegrass sound with heavy bass resonance so that’s why I chose the HD-35. The strings are what came on her out of the factory, I believe. And those are Authentic Acoustic Lifespan® 2.0 Guitar Strings Phosphor Bronze - Medium I’ll probably change them to something else I have lying around the house. @matthewreaume6654 2 месяца назад

Thank you! It's an HD-35. Came out the factory late September this year (2024). She still has a ways to go toward opening up, but the resonance, responsiveness, and tone were all what I was seeking. I'm not used to picking on medium gauge strings, and I'm not used to such a lightly braced top, so my pickin' will need to evolve a little bit to accommodate the guitar and vice versa. But such as it is with developing a relationship with a new instrument

I got to get ahold of one of these primotali peppers. J.S. said that the hottest pepper he ever tried was one of these. I have eaten several dried chocolate bhutlahs, and I do agree that they are a bit spicier than even a fresh carolina reaper pepper, but I still wasnt blown away by it, not even close. So if one of these primotali peppers could be hotter, I have to get my hands on some and try them too. Great video btw :-)
