This is a bit outdated now. Notion now has full support for forms and buttons. I like your comparison of how much easier it is to work with relations in Coda (more like conventional coding) but I think you should state up front, not at the end of your video, that you are a Coda employee.

I successfully connected to my calendar, but when I hit Refresh Calendar after entering the sequential numbers, I get an error. "Google Calendar error. Couldn’t find this action in Google Calendar." Any idea why this happens?

Awesome video! I was able to run the sync but running into one issue. Most of the columns from my table are syncing, but several are not and are instead all null when I've confirmed they're non-null in my Coda table. I've double checked the column header names between g sheet and Coda and they both match. I've also tried running the script on just the problamatic columns in case the sync was too large but that didn't solve it either. Any suggestions?

How do you get the start and end date from task/issues to show in the timeline? I only get the epic to show in the timeline. Thanks for a greate video :)

Thanks for the video, its great. I make this a few months ago. Now I have created more records in Coda, so I want to update the sheet. I have multiple scripts (.gs), one for each Coda table. But it seems to always run the same script although I select a diferent one. The execution log always refers to the same table. Do you know what I could be doing wrong? Thanks!

Oh one more request as you my favorite Coda RUclipsr, can you make a video on how we can have master place that pulls all dates from various Docs so we can see today, tomorrow, this month and etc. I have different projects, personal vs business, reminder, birthday and etc Docs, each has own dates, so everyday have to go each to see what due today, tomorrow and etc. There must be a way to pull all into Master Doc with a bility to link to original Doc/Row if we need to edit. It seemed that when you applied the "voice" mostly all you ever got was a word or two or a pithy slogan that the voice has used at the end of the output. Average at best. The summary of Tims process was good in each filter question. What the seeker is looking for from ChatGPT I presume is the 10 or 15 suggestions or alternitives that Tim says to do for each outcome. That was what I personally wanted when I went through the exercise.

Looking again at this video 10 mos later, I firmly believe that as a long-time notion user and beginning coda user, that both marketing and algorithms play an extremely large part in usage. The amount of notion fanboy comments and workarounds on the socials is absurd. Both craft and coda are functionally superior to notion in many (not every) ways but bc users get caught up in the tiktok, yt, twitter, etc algorithms and workarounds that 3rd parties and template makers provide, it's very hard for ppl to get out of the notion sphere. It's curated for them unless they watch videos like this. For example, recurring tasks. Instead of looking for a similar platform w/ baked in functionality, many users asked "when are recurring tasks coming?" for YEARS. Even now you have to create a "recurring tasks" template. API. It took notion YEARS to open the API. I could go on and on about the functionalities users demanded for so long. Why didn't many switch? Marketing and algorithms.
