Alabama Humanities Alliance
Добавлен 22 ноя 2013
We celebrate thinking. We encourage inquiry. We live for surprising discoveries. We exist to join together those who hunger for knowledge and create a sense of belonging among those who desire to learn. And now our name reflects that bond. We are more than an organization-we are an alliance of thinkers. We are AHA.

Thank you to whoever posted this. Rick Bragg is my favorite author but I was unable to attend I am thrilled that I got to see this conversation.
Congratulations to them both!! 🎉🎉👏👏👏👏👏
That song was a good choice. I saw it after the fact. 👍👍👍 Jason and Michael.
Whatever Brittany does, there is a Brittany-ness to it that makes it very attractive. He's right about the honesty. What Brittany brings to the table is respect for her listener, I think. She gifts us with her truth. She can change up her style any way she wants, she's still going to sound like Brittany. And it's still going to be magnetic.
I need Jason's mama's social media...she's got videos.
I'm not a musician, but from observation, there is a certain level of musician that is in it for the music and has no regard for "persons" at all. They're way beyond ego, just happy to catch a jam. I love being present for something like that.
Congrats, Jason. What a cool honor from your home state! And what an outstanding interviewer. Terrific questions and so well-informed. Kudos to her as well! And I feel the same about Brittany's line "you gotta hold on......"; broke my heart to hear her say she didn't know if she'd live to see adulthood.....powerful work.
Town of the best working musicians/song writers right now.
Love this!
Sooo good.
Sad that W. Kamau Bell hates his black roots so badly.
