Nice vid. Learnt something. I knew not all tanks are equal, but didn't know how to class them.

Counter: Mr Fantastic (try, no diver can kill a good Reed), Namor and turrets, a 2nd tank playing a bit in the back or middle, sometimes 3 healers. Hardest diver to stay alive with is Black Panther, a good one.

only thing i disagree with is the 1 support, while yes having only one support is fine, i think having 2 is typically better, support is a VERY strong role right now

2 years of hard support meta does things to people.

I just use namor and place my squids on walls or angles for divers to never escape my octopussies and, use my shield to watch them die slowly while i live another day until another diver comes in

Cloak and Dagger have great antidive capabilities if you react fast enough. You can just run away with the shadow and then use your healing bubble on your feet or just use the bubble, and you can fight back or decide your next action while you sit there. If you solo heal as C&D and your bubble and shadow are on cool down you can just walk up to an ally (I always play practically hugging tanks) and use your healing dagger on them and stand in its healing area. Dont forget to limit your enemies vision with the black screen.

Magik is more of a brawler than a flanker. She just does not have the mobility the other drivers/flankers do.

Peni is Flanker, Diver, Trapper, and Zone Controler. But mostly She is Zone Controler her job is to be a person who will sacure a flank a choke point and trap enemies into having to push though her controled zone or have to suffer her poke and assasinations on enemy support or dps. If she gets a few picks she can chose to become diver and start destroying enemy back with help of team who has higher numbers.

Not a single mention of Namor, when he is the premier anti-dive character, just feels wrong. Especially with the Luna team up, it makes diving your backline a nightmare. The squids cover so much area that your backline will thank you for looking out for them. And the divers themselves are forced to take alternate routes, waste cooldowns trying to kill them (in which you can easily replace them or kill the diver), or they are forced to take chip damage on their approach. He is a much better pick into them than moon knight since one of his weaknesses is being dove upon. Sure you can throw an ankh and play near by it but if the diver is smart, they'll just be back when you're distracted or play around the fact you're likely aiming at the ankh and not them and still kill you. For strategists, invisible woman and cloak and dagger are also excellent choices in which you have escape and potent healing to boot. Invisible woman can ground aerial character's when they try to jump her with her push and pull also being a good tool against them. C&D can use cloaks right click to get out of sticky situation's or use dagger's healing bubble then switch to cloak to scare away the divers. But the tried and true way to ensure your safety. Go to your team and say "I am being dove, I need help". If someone turns around, you're good. But even just the mere presence can help deter divers unless it's black panther in which case he is happy. Divers usually prey on isolated targets so the point is just not to make yourself one.

The fact you didn't mention Namor, the hard counter against divers with autolocking turrets to harass them, is criminal. But overall, good video

These are more like classes than roles

Moon Knight is not as mobile a character as he seems lol and he can easily be dispatched and the ankh can be played around/baited out and then you're a sitting duck. No mention of Namor in this video is criminal. If you're playing a Rocket/Jeff and you spend the whole game running from a dive and say "look but I didn't die". The dive still won that trade by essentially taking you out of the game. You need a support that can contest and kill easily, like Mantis or C&D. IW can easily break a dive's combo with her push, or yoink them back in for the kill after they've used their movement and think they're getting away. Some tanks do a better job of peeling, like Peni or Hulk. Others it doesn't make as much sense to give up space for free, support need to be helping each other out and the DPS need to play something capable of hitting those elusive characters. (Same goes against flyers. Get off moon knight/squirrel girl, you're not that guy). Lastly, support, run toward your team for assistance and put the diver in a bad position; stop backpedaling 50 yards around a corner and up a ramp and expecting your team to abandon the point and chase you down

It's because BP was designed to be played like a spastic and trying to shoot him while under pressure is almost impossible. I like peni because I can deny BP from entering my spider Bome Zone around the supports.

I feel like its important to understand that most characters have 2 roles instead of one like magik isnt just a diver she is also a frontliner and strange isnt just a frontliner hes a diver aswell

1:51 No bro, well at least not for venom, he is easy asf. I can make a pro guide for him in just 4 steps Step 1. Swing to the enemy backline and f up the supports (aim for the head) Step 2. Keep fighting/killing everyone(Tanks, Supports and Dps. them tendrils are rated E for everyone, but mostly focus 250 hp characters) Step 3. Once you are 50 hp shield yourself and swing back to your teams backline to get healed Step 4. Repeat Its easy see (Btw amazing video mr president, new sub)

Great video. I've been playing hulk since closed alpha and he's the most fun hero. Work on knowing when you should leap away. 1000dmg happens very fast in this game. Other than that you're on your way to greatness

I would say this is great, with the only exception being your explanation for what flankers are. Flankers are a bit more complicated than just “attack the enemy frontline”.

Jeff hits hard enough and is so slippery (pun intended) and hard to kill, unless there's a melee hero, Iron Man, or Moon Knight hard targeting you, that I sometimes joke that i'm an extra Vanguard and dive-duelist as well as a healer when I play with peeps.
