How to Program Subaru Smart Key Fob | Crosstrek Outback Forester Ascent Impreza WRX STI
Просмотров 17 тыс.10 месяцев назад
We’ll cover how to program a new key for your Subaru and what you’ll need to do it. This should work with the Crosstrek, Outback, Forester, Legacy, Ascent, Impreza, WRX, and STI that have the smart key style that is shown in the video. Key programming tool: Xtool D7 amzn.to/3Rai2AR If you're interested in renting an Xtool D7, send me an email at jasper@diycarkeys.com (website coming soon). I'm ...
The Logitech z623/5 is superior to the Klipsch Promedia 2.1.
I have two sets of Creative Gigaworks T40 series 2 and two sets of Presonus Eris E3.5 they are both great speakers , I use the Gigaworks T40 for movies and gaming and the Presonus Eris for music
Great Video! Thanks a lot from Europe
Hey boss, thanks for saving me time n money your requirements are the same as mine lol (looks, sound)found out im shallow who knew 😂
Ha. Glad I could be helpful 😂
The best desktop speakers are just some nice powered bookshelf speakers. personally I use edifier r1700bt
Everyone loves the Ora's, so I bought them... and I'm disappointed. The highs seem rolled off to me. With a small speaker highs are not usually the problem, so I don't know what to make of them.
I’m sorry to hear that. I'd suggest spending some time with them to see if things change after they break-in. I had some similar initial impressions, but after spending many hours with them I find myself preferring the way they present highs since it helps reduce fatige.
@@Jasper-Tech Hey, you're really good to reply, and so quickly. I think I have solved the problem! I had them far enough from the back wall, but there are cabinets over them. When I moved them out from under the cabinets, the tonal balance really improved. I think the location was just accenting some particular frequencies and the highs were getting lost in all that. Probably would have happened with any speaker. There are occasional moments of realism with these (vocals, acoustic guitar...) that are really rare with speakers this small. So, yeah, much happier now. Thanks for your comparison, and your reply!
From D7 Xtool: 2022 Subaru Outback is not supported.
Thanks for letting me know! They may add it in the future 🤞
That Kanto Ora waveguide and woofer configuration looks HIGHLY remniscent of the JBL 3 series. Also is size the reason Jamo s80x series were not mentioned? There's a powered one I haven't tried yet
Thank you so much, worked perfectly!
Big thanks for your work 😊 What would be your choice about sound quality between Yu4 and Ora ? (no space restriction) (if they were the same price) thank you 🙏
I'd probably go with the YU4, but its really close.
i can't find your video comparing the t0 with others! Also the T0 has a "shelf EQ" and "Flat EQ" check out the config settings.
I agree with audiophiles - do not buy cheap speakers. I bought Pebble and regret.
Fair - it’s all about balancing expectations. A Pebble is not gonna blow you away, but it’s much better than most cheap internal laptop speakers. Around the $100 price point opens up many decent options.
@@Jasper-Tech Any good speakers with integrated DAC? I listen to music on my computer very occasionally, and for this reason I want to keep a numbers of extra devices minimal. The pebble is certainly a winner there because it doesn't require even a separate power adapter, but I am willing to sacrifice a bit for a better quality and can accept speakers with own power adapter. The price range around $300 looks reasonable.
Keep an eye out for the new Kanto Ora 4s, previewed at CES 2024 and hopefully releasing later this year. The same as the Ora but with a bigger 4' dome and slightly revised and updated features.
They said it will be available for april 2024, but still waiting for them 😱😭 😁
Do the Oras have an output for a subwoofer? Curious how the A2’s and lower end Kanto sound with a sub?
The ORAs do have a sub out! I have not tried it yet, because personally I don't think they need more bass. I do live in a NYC apartment though so part of that comes from my desire to not upset my neighbors. I think the A2s plus a sub would also be a great combo.
Cheers for the video. I bought the KantoORA's, love em
Dope vid! Basically in the same exact situation as you were when you uploaded this 😂
“You cannot remove this grill.” Hold my beer.
😂
Nice review, but im getting a hard OCD hit with the monitors. They should be all the same :) Otherwise, congrats!
I got my audioengine a2+ the stand including free shipping and no taxes all for $249. Same setup with Kanto would have been $160 more andbhonestly, Kanto's shell is so flimsy compared to my sleek white piano Audioengine. I think for price difference, Audioengine is a better deal.
Testing €300 speakers on sound from RUclips, which is ultra-compressed and degraded, is an original idea.... But a bad idea. You can use the best speakers in the world, but if the audio source is crap, the speakers will sound like crap! Tom from France
Noted 😂
you seem to be a good person to ask. i current have edifier 1280db's and they are.. okay. on the other hand i have a pair of beyerdynamic dt990 and i love how they sound. the edifier have 2 "problems" they sound flat and dampend compare to the beyer headphones and they are very sensetiv to positon. meaning, they dont throw a very wide cone so to speak, they dont fill the room. so what iam looking for, is a pair of speaker, that have the same or similar sound profile as the dt990 but a wide cone then the edifiers.. speakers that dont need to be perfectly centered towars you in order to sound right.. any suggestions?
Would you recommend any of these for TV use? Would they have decent output for a “medium” room? Speaking generally obviously
Great vid keep it up!
Thank you for the video! Your directions worked perfectly with the Xtool D7. I decided to buy an Autel MK 808S because Amazon said it would program keys and because all the cool kids with automotive channels on RUclips seem to have Autel's. I could not make it work! I returned the Autel, got the Xtool D7, and it was easy! Lesson learned: follow the directions!
If you don't mind saying, what desk are you using? Thanks
Can't wait for your assessment as well. I was actually torn between these two choices.
i remember buying the kanto yu6 4 years ago when it was around $399. Now its around $520. Crazy. Glad I purchased it. It still sounds awesome
Love the creative T40s, easily one of the best sub $100 options. That said, I am surprised you ignored one of the best budget speakers on the market. I'm talking about the Edifiers. They have options in every price category, and all of them are top notch.
Thought you might have tried Genelec G One
X Tool D7 Wiil NOT program fob on Subaru outback Touring XT (2022)
You forgot to add studio speakers which would be the best for desktop like Genelec, JBL, Kali Audio etc
Good call out - I may make another video on this topic! Any other speakers you think should be on the list?
Just purchased the pebble v3 thanks to you. I’m not expecting anything great, I just need some cheap audio for my pc. Trying to move away from headphones and earbuds.
Thanks for your work. Great video!
I like your reviews, you think like me Was wondering if you heard about Fluance Ai41? I am between that and Kanto Ora's, not sure which to get yet, might get both and test out But Fluance Ai41 has RCA/Optical and Blueetooth While Kanto is more future proof with USB C, RCA and Bluetooth Although my TV does only have optical port and Bluetooth, hence why I'm a bit stuck :[
I don’t have any experience with the Fluance Ai41, but I’ll definitely look into it (maybe will include in a future video). Personally, I love my ORAs, but overall I agree - get both and compare! Nothing beats being able to compare speakers directly in the environment you’re going to use them in. Keep me posted on what you think.
KEF LSX?
Do you need other devices to add when buying Kanto speakers or it is stand alone can plug automatically on desktop/laptop?
It’s standalone! All you need to do is plug it in and connect an audio source (can even be Bluetooth).
Thoughts on Adam T5V?
They are excellent! I may do a video featuring them in the future. Here’s a link for those that are curious amzn.to/4cCmhgE
@@Jasper-Tech do you have personal experience with them?
@helloyu6270 - yes, one of my good friends has a set of them.
@@Jasper-Tech how do they work for daily listening? Are they fatiguing at all or are there any better alternatives at the price?
@helloyu6270 can you tell me more about what you’ll be using them for? Mostly audio production? Casual listening? A mixture? Will you be using them just at a desk, or do you also want to be able fill a room? And finally, what would you say are the most important factors? I’m thinking things like size, neutral sound response, aesthetics, not fatiguing, bass response, etc.
Also heard good things about the Kali LP UNF in the $300 range
How do program push start button cars without using these tools?
Sadly, you can’t! Older cars used to be able to be programmed without any tools, but this has changed with modern cars. The reason is theft. The easier it is to program new keys, the easier it is for thieves to use the same techniques.
Awesome comparison round up!
I am torn between Klipsch R-41 PM or Kanto Ora. There Will be a sub. Usage Will be for gaming and movies in a smaller office. Any advice?
I’ve never tried the R-41 PM, but they seem like a really solid option. Without having tried them it’s hard to offer an opinion, but… I think since these speakers are for a smaller office, I’d go with the ORAs. They’re far more compact and will suit an office application really well. If you were looking to fill a bigger room with sound, I’d say pass on the ORAs since peak volume is not their strength. Hope this helps!
No Edifier?Why?
I just ran out of $$ for this video 😞 Will try to include them in a future one!
@@Jasper-Tech Edifiers are the go to option for a lot of audio set ups. Its an amazing price to performance brand.
The vanatoo is very higly rated among audiophiles. Looking forward to your take on it
The Kanto TUK have been my set for a few years now. Frankly, Kanto's entire product lineup is exceptional, but I really enjoy how TUK sounds when compared to the YU series.
Bro, you have the Vanatoo T0!! Maybe sometime you could do a part 2 sound test video including those! 😄
If I already own the Kanto YU2 + Kanto Sub8, should I consider the upgrade to the Kanto Ora? I'll keep the Sub for the Ora as well?
I definitely think the ORAs are an upgrade from the YU2, but since you already have a sub, it honestly may not be worth it. This is very much a personal preference thing at this point. You could consider purchasing them via Amazon (use my affiliate link if you do please! 😉) and then returning them if you’re not satisfied - Amazon is typically very good about returns.
@@Jasper-Tech got the ORA. They are amazing!Definitely prefer it over YU2, and they don't really need a sub but I don't mind!
Nice Star Wars plan thing
I would like a review of the Edifier G2000 speakers for those interested in having a pair of speakers below 60 bucks (Pebble category). Nice channel though lad!
@@javierm.2808 I have the Edifier G2000. Sounds good baby sized monsters. They pack a punch. Bluetooth has good latency. Can also be vonnected thru usb or 3.5mm jack. Has 3 modes music, movies and gaming. Led color selection and modes. Can be turned off also. It has a sub out if you want more bass. For the price range and options its a real deal.
Bro its awesome! So beautiful
Thank you so much 😀
🙌
Swan Os 10 Not a good speaker I bought, it lost to even 14yr old Creative T20. These speakers can't 'sing' it's as good as a typical PC speaker, no more, don't expect audiophile. If you play game it won't even sound 'realistic' like walls blocking (FYI I used a few top end DAC to test)
I'm very surprised you think they’re that bad! Did you break them in? Also, I’d recommend trying different speaker placements!
