Join me on a hike to Machine Falls near Tullahoma, Tennessee.

Not only do we hike to the falls to talk photography, but we rate the trail's fat-friendliness as we go along. Will it get a 10/10 (best possible score for fat-friendliness) or a 0/10 (fat folks beware)?

Nice video. Fat-Friendly ratings are what I look for. The ending to that trail where it descends is killer, but doable. Glad someone made some stairs and steps.
They've really done a lot of maintenace to the trail over the last year or so.
You wouldn't have had as bad of time hiking if you carried a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts with you. I was almost forced to give you a thumbs down for poor planning.
I was trying to lighten my backpack load. That's why I took the Tamron 11-20mm lens. Did you know that thing weighs less than 1 pound?!?
@@cecilsphotos I did. Did you know that a dozen Krispy Kremes only weigh 1.2 pounds, but if you eat them at a regular pace, it won't add any weight when you are done.
At least you had David there to provide comic relief!

After watching this/your video, I went on the web to B&H Photo and ordered the Sirui L-20S. It is to be delivered tomorrow 5/13/2020. I already had the Sirui P-204S. Thank you for a great video, Jim, Charlotte, NC.

I bought a Sirui L Series L-20S head, partially based in this review. The description on Amazon says "Both models feature and Arca-style quick release plate, making them compatible with a wide range of plates and easy to integrate into your system. " It is not compatible with a 60mm, or smaller, Arca Swiss plate or my Arca Swiss L bracket. The description is clearly false. They should have a disclaimer indicating that it is not Arca Swiss compatible. All they needed to do was machine an Arca Swiss compatible grooves into the plate. I managed to make it usable by attaching an Arca Swiss clamp to their plate.
Hi, Could you please confirm the width of your L-bracket for me? Mine is a standard 38mm wide L-bracket and I've read elsewhere that this will be fine on the Sirui L-20s head. Just wanted to confirm before buying as your comment is the first I've read which mentions issues with L-bracket compatibility. Thanks in advance.
@@samstone91 The width is not the issue, it is the length. The vertical part of the L bracket is 50mm. The safety pins on the L bracket prevent the Sirui head from seating properly. Sirui heads do not accommodate Arca Swiss safety pins.

James Anthony UK. Great review very well presented. Good instruction and features that both the Sirui P-204S Monopod and the L-20S monopod head. Since watching your review, I brought both. I have now been even more impressed how good the pair together work. Thanks Again.

I ordered this monopod last week and it came in yesterday. It's awesome! Thanks for the video .This is about the 6th video I've watched on this model and none of the other videos actually show the thing in action.
Thank you for this very informative review Cecil! First I ordered the monopod to make sure I liked it, then I ordered the same head a few days later. What an amazing combo for photographing birds! I went with the tilt and pan Sirui L 20 S so that I could use it on another tripod if I wanted, and have the panning feature. Also, it just seems easier to have everything adjustable on top of the tripod, rather than dealing with the other features on the monopod it's self. Thanks again for making my decision easier! (The price on the L 20 head was only $10 more than the L 10)

is this for crop or full frame?

Quietpro Link this particular legs does not. However, Tamron makes a 14-150 for Olympus micro four thirds.
