I think a lot of Wayne fans need to be thankful he didn’t get it. The people that work in the entertainment industries for these big annual TV events like wrestlemania or the Grammys, where they like to have a live artist perform, the people that have had to work with Wayne in the past have all come out and said it was a nightmare. He never showed up for a rehearsal and they wouldn’t hear from him until shortly before it was time for him to take the stage, then he would run out there and give a really bad life performance. As soon as it was over, they couldn’t find him because he left. If they gave that spot to Wayne, there’s a good possibility. It would be very bad and would go down his history is one of the worst halftime shows of all time. Do you really want that for his legacy as the guy that delivered the worst halftime show in Super Bowl history in his home city? I mean, Wayne isn’t an old man, but he looks like he’s 15 years older than he is. He admits he doesn’t know the words to his own songs because he didn’t spend more than five minutes on any of them. They usually songs with a really dope beat and nice catchy hook, but the versus aren’t really there. So if he doesn’t take his work seriously, he doesn’t take live performances seriously why should he be given this position? I look at this as Jay Z saving Wayne from himself.
