@@velocitygarage i am looking to get one, i test drove a 2020 premium and it had a lot of burbles stock, drove a 2022 and it was killed off; both AT... i love the look of the car but burbles is a need for me, and some cars i've seen with a catless dp on 2022 sound pretty good so maybe thats the only solution; but when watching your video I heard none when you were driving on the freeway/highway

@@GNoahY car probably was not warmed up. My blue one is a 23 and sometimes does not burble unless warmed up. Plus if you really want burbles it’s not hard to do that. Note that 2020 made less power than the future years I believe it was a retune on their DME not that has anything to do with burbles but just something I thought you should know

@@velocitygarage ty for that, and yeah i really didn't feel the difference in speed/power even with the 50ish hp diff... maybe my butt dyno is off. but cant wait to see how your build is going!

@@GNoahY the white one (my brothers) doesn’t burble as much only if you get in throttle and let off on boost. Just FYI. And the blue one will be getting so well deserved power mods very soon be on the look out for those videos

I agree. I don’t think it’s worth getting their catted dp as your already half way there with catless and it throws a CEL so what’s the point

I got the street version and so far so good with them being in the car for about a year now. I have -4 degrees of camber in the front with these installed. Not sure as to why they only mention castor for you on the G body’s

I have not done positive camber but if I were to guess I’d say yes they could adjust to positive and yes to straight

@@velocitygarage oh absolutely the car breathes so much better once you get that done. Did you have to tune your Supra once you did downpipe or are you able to leave it stock making that mod?

@@jakejanusi5554 I can leave it stock but when I get the ecu unlocked I will be getting it tuned

@@velocitygarage that’s awesome. With these Jetta’s you have to tune with the downpipe otherwise it throws a code. Any time table on being able to unlock the ECU?

@@jakejanusi5554 with the Supra just gotta make sure that you still have a cat or space the o2 sensor with catless to not throw a code

No, no fire hazard at all. This is completely safe. Subwoofer boxes typically have speaker wadding similar to what I used in the enclosures them selves to transmit sound better

I did realize that after a month of have my it like that. No damage done but I appreciate the heads up

Honestly never encountered a squeak from my control arms. I’d say give Z1 a heads up and possibly send you out some new arms for no charge

45s are a little aggressive if you’re going low. Max I’d do is 40s which I have

I’m not sure if you have done this but I’ve noticed a difference. Before it was just unbearable to listen to music because that plastic carpeted piece always rattled. The bass just felt hollow too, so again I’m Not saying your wrong everyone is entitled to their own opinion. In my case it worked

Yes I have done the mod that's why I say it's just not worth it. If you had some rattling it was most likely that something was loose or not put back together correctly. For the time and money it takes to do this It is just not worth it. You do understand that trying to port free-air subs is just a ridiculous concept. @@velocitygarage

I believe the ports were necessary to be honest with you. I mean everyone has their opinions and I’m not saying I’m right and you’re wrong. After doing this modification I do believe that the sound quality did get better as there is wayyyy less vibrations than before. And I do agree poor placement for subwoofers

I have dealt with paint chipping unfortunately. Mostly on the side skirts but I will be changing those to something along the lines of fiberglass as it’s more rigid and would fit better than the polyurethane

@@velocitygarage damn 😭 I want to rock fiberglass but have dealt with issues of it cracking from rocks and shit vs poly being indestructible I might just do wrap to match the car then instead of paint

That’s honestly a good question. A question that I do not have the answer to. But if I remember correctly with the wheel off they are accessible. I could be wrong but maybe this is something I should look into
