I'm glad the person who ghosted me hasn't had any attempts to sneak back into my life. Our mutual friends says he's afraid I might do something to him.

I was ghosted recently and then he popped back up out of the blue. When he ghosted me IT KILLED ME EMOTIONALLY.... I went to counselor to figure out what was happening..... I figured out that I was upset because I was looking to that person for validation (make me feel good about myself) so while he was away and a lot of counseling I got stronger......... When he popped back up.... I was nice but I had no expectations and I didn’t respond with desperation. I was polite......The truth is we can’t know why another person acts the way the do, but we can only control ourselves. I am much stronger now so when he goes in and out (he has since ghosted me again) i am moving on......

My guy ghosted me in my 20s and got married to someone else. After 30 years he then contacted me. We talked over telephone for a month then met for a drink. We both fell in love which is never wanted or thaught about. I sort of ghosted a girl recently (in my mind i wasn't ghosting, i just didn't answer a single textmessage)... apparently i really hurt her but it wasn't my intention. I'm just an introverted guy and can go long stretches of time without communicating. Also I didn't really see her as a romantic prospect but as an acquaintance. Point being: sometimes the other person is oblivious to your high level of investment. I'm not an egocentric guy, had she asked for my help with anything I would have gladly done so since I think highly of this person.

I know it wasn't me deep down. But I wanted the relationship. But since he's ghosted, NO. It's good to get the information why he left though because you missed red flags before. Don't miss them again. If you can build the relationship together then good. Never be in one- sided relationships. As far as taking things slowly with you, that's NOT ghosting. You can stay with folk and still move slowly. But really ghosts need to continue traveling and you can stop hearing from them and seeing them.

Always an interesting topic. There are definitely good men out there. But truth is women really don’t want them. Not really. Good men are boring, reliable, good providers, are good parental investment, kind, respectful, polite and deferential to you. They sacrifice their lives and sexual monogamy to you alone , so they are “ordinary” because that’s what men are “just supposed to do!” Most women either find this suffocating or outright repellent. The resent such men. Reliable, nice, deferential and ordinary are not exhilarating, exciting nor do they create those tingles downstairs or between the ears. Usually such men were annoyingly plentiful when she was young. By the time she is 28, 29, 30 even those guys are gone. Now, women will break down, “settle” and marry them, to be sure. But women typically cannot and will not give him their love completely. They cannot give him their sexual best either. They just can’t. That was reserved for the “real” men who came into her life hot, pulled her hair, spanked her ass, left her in the fetal position and never called her for weeks or ever again. Women love such arrogant, conceited and self-centered assholes with all their mind, body and souls. That is the irony of women and female sexual strategy. Even women know and recognized this aspect within themselves and feel the conflict. “Why am I so attracted to absolute jerks?!” Because masculine, dominant, confident, competitive, aggressive men with IDGAF are a good breeding investment for her genetic success. Period. But in such pure, raw form such men usually make lousy husbands, and unreliable providers and fathers. You can find a mix of these qualities ins some men, but those guys are usually taken off the market pretty damn fast by young, beautify and healthy women. There are good men out there. They are studying, working, helping their fathers and mothers, volunteering, etc. The only question is whether you can convince yourself mentally to be genuinely attracted to him love him enough for what he is never going to be, and will you ever be “happy” and satisfied with that never going to be man? If you look at the rates of divorce and marital success, the answer is a decisive no. Women hate the notion of lowering her 4 page list of prerequisites and standards, like “rich and spontaneous and always respectful!” Female hypergamy simply doesn’t care.
