S2000 cluster in my ek

Ill teach anyone how to do it.. to get the temp gauge to work use the s2000 temp sensor with a resistor.. for the speedo.. just buy the analog to digital sensor on ebay I found them for less than 20 bucks.. search it.. speed healer just cost too much $$$$$

where do you have both of your radiators mounted? (main radiator and water to air intercooler radiator). i’m trying to figure out the best placement for mine without cutting up the front trunk area
For the main radiator you will absolutely need to cut the front.. but only the bottom portion, then behind the radiator you will need to cut into to let the air out.. I took out the air to water radiator and I'm just running a tank with a drain valve so I can just throw ice in it when I need to.. you don't always need cold air unless you're racing.. but normal driving you're barely in boost.. lmk if you want more info.. also you should get a electric I line water pump.. to push or pull more coolant.
@@B18bVtec thanks for the info - when you did have your water to air intercooler did you have it’s radiator mounted in front of the main rad? also how did you mount your BOV/BPV if you don’t mind me asking. this is the last thing i have left in my project and i’m just not sure what to do yet. already drilled holes into the apron for air flow, but may need to cut the metal from the spare tire well to open up space

Ill be very honest.. that is a custom made turbo manifold and when I put the motor in and did everything I forgot to set the height so it dented the manifold and created a crack that I didn't see.. it's fixed now, I'm actually making the manifold come from the rear like a air-cooled motor... It's a stock ECU btw.

The cluster was the most expensive thing.. the rest was under 40 bucks.
For the temp sensor did you simply add a resistor between the pigtail on cluster and temp output wire ? You used a 1K Ohlm?

First you need to get a cluster with the clips on the back, if you don't have the clips it's fine.. I didn't have them either.. on your car it's pretty much cut and splice.. what are you having a problem with?

You need to get a analog to digital converter, like the ones they use on motorcycles.. they're on eBay for like 10-40 bucks.. email me tomorrow I'll help.

TheRealKnob I actually made it.. I cut the original out of cardboard then made a replica out of plastic and put carbon fiber tape on it.

how the analog to digital have to look like I have check at eBay and it doesn't show anything that can conect to that

Ok for the speed to work you need a analog to digital converter found on eBay.. If not you can RUclips how to make one.. I honestly forgot what size resistance I used.. I think it was 1k ohm

I didn't buy anything.. Wiring was simple.. My gf actually did it using the wiring diagram for my car and the one for the s2000. It was very easy.. To get everything to work I used the items I mentioned below... Total cost for all parts used was about 45 bucks.

I used a resistor for the temp gauge and I used a 10 dollar analog to digital converter from eBay for the speedometer to work..

How much did it cost you for the conversion kit??
If anyone is wondering about doing this swap in your 1996-2000 honda civic ex the ek conversion kit is compatible with your ex I just spoke with wire-worx and they have confirmed it. Hope this helps someone out.
